Got this to install in my old vehicle and I'm pleased with the improvement. It did take some time to install, but once done, it works as it is supposed to. The sensors do a good job detecting obstacles when backing into tight spots. The alert sound is clear. It helped me when parking in areas that have a lot of cars and has made parking much easier.

Very easy to install and the alarms work great. Still have not hit anything so they seem pretty accurate. Plenty of cord to reach the whole car too.

I installed this in my 1979 Camaro after a close call that caught me off guard. In 10 years of driving, I’ve never hit anything while reversing—but the visibility in this car is tough, and I didn’t see a parked trailer until it was too late. Right after that, I started looking online for an easy-to-install backup camera and came across these sensors instead. They were a great find. The system complements a camera well and adds an extra layer of safety, especially in older vehicles. While not as precise as factory sensors, they’re definitely more helpful than relying on a camera alone. I do wish it came with a printed instruction booklet—videos helped, but they’re hard to follow outside in the sun. I also used tape on the bumper before drilling to help avoid paint chips, but the sensor trim covers small marks anyway. If you're doing a camera install too, it's smart to run the wires for both at the same time.

I’ve tried everything to get this to work and it just doesn’t. It is always in alarm status. It is a lot of work to install in. I installed it in a 2020 Nissan Frontier (small pickup) the wires are not long enough to reach from bumper up rear view mirror. I had to spice wires. If you don’t know how to spice very tiny wires, don’t buy this. Also the hole saw the kit is worthless. It ground down flat and just scratched the bumper. Make sure to buy a 3/4” bi metal hole saw before attempting install. Remember to only trust reviews that are “verified purchase.”

I picked the dark gray and worked great. Only dislike is the beeps star to sound as soon as you put it in reverse. Didn’t know if that is due to the installation or the product. Beeps do get stronger when getting closer to objects..
