5 Live Freshwater Assassin Snails (Clea Helena) 0.5" - 1"

All 5 are alive, good size and already moving while acclimating. I prob received 20 minutes ago and immediately opened the box and started acclimating. They were nicely packed and I don’t see any signs of extra critters other say they had tagging along with them. If anything changes with them I will update this post since it’s literally been less than a half an hour since I got them. Side note: be sure you are paying attention to the delivery day and time and make sure you are home. They were delivered by USPS and my inconsiderate mailman placed them in my mailbox in Florida on an 80 degree day. They would have cooked if I wouldn’t have immediately gotten them out. But this is a postal issue not an issue with the snails or seller.

Just ordered my second batch of snails recently and received them today. First order was a fail, most likely due to USPS. This new batch of snails came pretty quick and looked healthy. I quickly acclimated them to my tank and put them in to work. They started moving sooner than I thought, even though they were getting swarmed by the pest snails I needed these to eat.

Received alive and on time. I followed instructions to acclimate the snails before putting them in my tank. I assume they are doing what I bought them to do...assassinate the pest snails.

They do eat other snails but you may need more than 5 if your having an infestation of snails in the tank. They are pretty durable and were delivered with care. All of the snails immediately were able to wake up and acclimate to the new tank when I introduced them into the system slowly AS THE INSTRUCTIONS INDICATE. it's a process that can take about 30min with 5min increments of adding watter to the cup the come in. The color on these snails is very vibrant and it's amazing to watch them in the tank !! They don't reproduce like other snails so worrying about them over populating the tank is very low. If you do have them spawn more that's great 👍 KEEP THEM ALL. M AND F are required to have more of these snails so if you get lucky with that keep all the adult ones and sell the babies until you have the desired amount in your tank. Health of the snails is good and size is no bigger than a nickel to quarter coin. Value for these snails is outstanding !

If you were looking for assassin snails that come with friends and a seller on Amazon that stops replying to you.. these might be for you!I have three tanks that I haven't added anything to in a very long time. All three tanks have a few more bladder snails than I would like them to have and although I could cut back on feeding to possibly reduce their population, I always wanted to get some assassin snails so I thought now would be a good time.I guess I shouldn't have been surprised to find them on Amazon but I was.The snails all arrived in a small plastic tub with a little bit of water and a piece of paper towel.They all looked fine, a little bit of excess algae on their shells but otherwise fine.I ended up splitting them up into two groups. One with three snails and one with two. I filed their instructions on acclimating them and placed three in one of my smaller tanks and two in the other small tank. I did not put any in my larger tank. I partially did this to quarantine then because I was reluctant to add anything new to my big tank.I'm glad I did. I'm pretty sure the little bug like things are copepods and beneficial/harmless.The worms are what I'm concerned about. Both of my small tanks now have worms. At first it was only a couple but it didn't take long for there to be lots of them.I can't say for sure but they might be detritis worms or something else that's hopefully harmless to my fish.Before writing this review I contacted the seller through Amazon. At first they of course acted very surprised but wanted pictures of the worms. That was difficult but I eventually got some good macro shot pictures of the worms crawling on the glass of the aquarium.The pictures I've added to this review or the same pictures I sent the seller. I waited four and a half days, and since I've still not gotten a reply I went ahead and reported them to Amazon but also decided to write this review.The snails are still alive and still look healthy so that's a plus..They came with critters I preferred not to have in my tanks but when adding things like snails and plants, these things do happen. Hence why I didn't just dump them all in my big tank which is where I wanted them eventually and they may still go in there if I can properly identify the worms.I'm giving it one star simply because the seller ghosted me. That doesn't make me confident that I correctly identified the worms nor doesn't make me feel confident recommending you buy assassin snails from the seller.

All snails came healthy and good sized. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Love them! Great assortment of size. They went straight to work, no submerging into substrate then eating later. I mean kill after kill! It's been amazing!!! They have definitely beefed up my team of one🤦He just wasn't doing the job in a 30 gallon😁 with lots of plants lol. I had ended up with hundreds of bladder snails I couldn't even manually pick out fast enough to feed my fahaka in the big tank. They are beautiful and will save my plant tank, and can be moved to other tanks so save them when they are done as they don't eat shrimp😍HOWEVER!!!!!I got no response when the snails were running late.... And I was left hanging.... And very worried.So sadly.... What could have been a 5 star rating, is only a 3.They arrived in milky water that felt close to 90* and one looked almost dead.I slow drip acclimated for 4 hours though, and they are great now. Also, I did NOT put that "water" in my tank.If you don't know what you are doing, I do believe a buyer could actually have a couple snail deaths on their hands not to mention death other species in thier tank from whatever might be in those milky bags. I treated for parasites to be careful and ready with prazipro.

Snails aren’t as bright and vibrant as picture but to be expected healthy animals seller said give 3 days b4 they move mine started jamming 5 minutes after release into tank
