An expensive menthol cough drop on a stick
I bought these for my mom, who can't use regular cough drops because they're a choking hazard. It's basically a menthol cough drop on a stick - we don't taste any "honey apple" flavor - so I can see why kids wouldn't like them. They are the size of a Dum Dum lollipop. It works out to about 75 cents per pop, vs. about 8 cents each for an equivalent Halls cough drop. I am a little leery about where these came from, though - they're listed on the Halls website, but I can't find them for sale anywhere else. The seller brand is GEEOOLLAH - looks like they repackage and distribute a variety of products. The label on the back of the bag says "Packaged by L&B." The pops look legit, though. In spite of that, they're worth it to give my mom a little relief from her hacking cough.
