Great option for cost and plus sizing
So I got this suit in order to pursue my Open Water Diving certification. I really wanted something from Bare but the pricing seemed a bit much given that I was just getting started and did not want to spend too much at this stage.Because if my size I needed a 4XL and I got the right fit here ! I looked at reviews for the higher end suits from Bare, Henderson, Aqualung, Cressi and Scuba Pro; and a lot of them talk about how there is limited stitching and the seems are actually done using heat so there are less areas in the suit that can tear. This suit uses a lot of stitching and that probably keeps the suit price down.I am looking forward to using this for the next year or so for some fun recreational dives, hopefully my experiences with this suit remain positive as thus far I have only used it for confined water sessions.Update, I passed my exams and this was the suit I wore while diving . I did a total of 4 open water dives in this and I am looking forward to doing even more when the opportunity presents itself.

Well constructed but sizing runs big
I was very disappointed that I had to return this wet suit. It seemed to be a very good quality and had features of more expensive wet suits. Unfortunately, if something does not fit, it does not fit. I am a 5'7" male and an athletic 130 lbs. Size chart says a small should be borderline too small for me. I ordered a small and it was huge (by wet suit standards). Took me about 15 seconds to put it on - not a good sign for a wet suit - and was visibly loose around the knees, hips, low back, and underarms. Size chart seems to be designed to cater to people based on comfort and not how a wet suit should actually fit. I have my doubts that even an XS would have a sufficiently tight fit for my body type.

Does What I Need
I needed this so I don't completely freeze while I'm trying to decommission my pool that's still up. I wear about a men's 40 for shorts/pants, I ordered a 3XL, it fits snug, but zips up. As I am not extremely tall, there is extra length in the legs and arms. For my purposes this was not a bit issue, I just folded up the slack at the knees and biceps. This worked great insulating me from the 59degF water temperatures while I vacuumed the pool (lots of leaves falling) and prep'ed to take it down. I did not have any issues staying warm. When I wasn't in the pool/outside in a breeze I was starting to sweat a little, so it is definitely a good insulator - also it's all black so that soaks up the sun as well. The material on this is nice and thick, didn't feel flimsy. It has some grippy like material at the wrists, ankles and neck to help hold everything in place. It's not uncomfortable for the amount of time I was in it (about an hr). I saw some suggestions for putting on a wet suit - wear a pair of socks when sliding your legs into it so things went more smoothly, then take the socks off after you've got the leg on; it worked for me.My only "complaint" is that the neck is relatively tight and came up a bit high on my neck (again, I'm not a tall person, the proportions are probably for a taller individual) so it was a little bit more constrictive that I felt comfortable with. If tight turtle neck sweaters don't bother you you will be fine with this.Gotta say, the design on it makes you feel a bit like a superhero, so that's pretty cool :)Overall pretty happy with it, especially at that price point, so I'll be keeping it to use with my pool when it's chilly out. I like to squeeze as many pool days in as possible :)

90% impressed freediver approved!
4 stars. As an avid freediver i have to say this feels very snug pro wetsuit. I see most people that have no experince with wetsuits purchasing ones that are baggy. (This creates drag). Sits nice and flush against the skin. The decal designs would look really cool of it was raised an inch. And reflective/metallic shine. the sleve lengths feel an inch short webbed gloves solve that. I will be testing this as soon as weather is permitted. I highly recommend this wetsuit. DO YOUR MEASURMENTS! Remember never dive alone. Be safe and most of all DIVE smart!! Do your reasearch. I will be placing an additional order in the up coming weeks. I Would love to promote this product!Insta-@faberbobber_outdoors
