Q: Can i use this to keep my 10 gallon quarantine tank cycled until i need it?

Yes. The bacteria will die if not fed. Just keep it at 2 ppm. When you need the tank just test your parameters and bring them into line w/a water change.

Q: What do I do if nitrite stays high the entire week and nitrate stays the same while no ammonia?

Plants uptake the nitrate, so if you need more nitrate removed from the system, you can add more plants. Microorganisms convert the nitrite into nitrate, and for that, you just have to give them time to build up. Eventually you should see your nitrite levels dropping if you aren't adding ammonia.

Q: New tank trying to cycle but plants already in the tank, my dose of Flourish is due can I add while cycling or just wait until after cycled?

I have a planted tank as well and when I first set up my aquarium l planted my plants added root tabs and started the fish less cycle. So I think you should be fine adding flourish.

I got 2ppm with 4drops per gallon. I waited about 1 hour to test and tested every 2 days thereafter. Make sure you add some nitrifying bacteria to speed the cycle. Add more ammonia whenever you read below 1ppm. Good luck
