Definitely wouldn't recommend
Although this was warm enough, I found myself tearing it off in desperation (despite the very cold -14C temperature) within 15 minutes of the very first & only wear (it's remained unworn since); due to how very much it made my neck itch. It should be noted that ONLY the hood itself has any fleece material. The neck/face part is a smooth-knit material with no fleece lining. I'm very happy that I took a back-up neck gaiter (which gave no such problems) with me on holiday, otherwise I'd have been miserable. Admittedly, there are some wools that have a tendency to make me itch (such as mohair) in a rough knit, but I've never had this kind of reaction before to anything that's a smooth knit, and the product information doesn't mention wool at all - it states that it's polyester (I've never had a reaction to polyester before, either). Even after removing this, the itch/general irritation remained for about 24 hours. For me, at least, it was unwearable & a complete waste of money.
