Be careful when buying dimmable LED lights. They should have a good range between strong and soft light. This one is 9W (don't buy anything weaker then that unless you just want ambient light) and the fact that it is 2700K to 6500K means that it will give you a nice soft warm light as well as a cold bright white light and everything in between, Most people don't know that and end up buying lights that will not work very well for their needs. The instructions are not very good but you can even find a tutorial on YouTube about how to set them up and then it is easy enough, although annoying the first time you do it, after that it is easy enough. The colors are great too! I have wasted my money buying a set of 3 bulbs from the same brand that are 7W and don't have the same range (2700K to 6500K) and therefore there was no white light to illuminate a room or to read. This time I got this right and want to save other people from have the same issue. With this bulb you will be able to cater to most situations.

The first bulb I bought would not connect to my network. I went through a whole slew of different approaches (normal mode, AP mode), different SSIDs on my router, different passwords, all on the 2.4ghz band.The second bulb I ordered as a replacement has the same issue. These devices successfully associate with the WLAN (I can see their MACs listed as connected) but they never pull an IP address. Additionally, this second bulb was clearly a pre opened package.Go with a different solution.

This wins for brightness, features, and price vs all the other giants out there. You really can't go wrong with this light. Works fantastic with Alexa. The colors are punchy and great. All my smart bulbs in my house are from Novostella and I have been super happy with them. The brand is great and have great customer service.

I have 4 of these. Easy to setup. Love how it can set the mood. App is intuitive and I can confirm it works with Google Home. Grouping and timer functions make these bulbs great for the price. So many mood and color options available with the app. Would buy again.

Positive experience with standard shape bulb but the recessed sized bulb is a failure two have worked fine for a few months then they fail...no way to reconnect tried removing and reinstall 6 times still no success... It would appear there is a problem with this type bulb

Little confusing on the linking, but once you get it this thing rocks. "Alexa, set lamp at chartreuse" Boom! Chartreuse colored light. Amazing.

I paired it through my google assistant.. So far I am liking it. the only problem it's not that bright. there should be some transition when it changes the color.
