Siren Registers with Base and Shows Status but does NOT Sound during Alarm Condition!
GOOD NEWS: Registration of siren with base when fast and easy -AND- showed status of siren on smartphone . . .BAD NEWS: Siren never sounded when alarm went off. Tested multiple times and got alarm activation by email and phone BUT SIREN DID NOT SOUND!!! During one of the several tests, did get siren to peep a couple of times one time when switched from "Home" to "Away" which would seem to notify user that alarm was going active. Walked into motion sensor and alarm was triggered with notification to phone and email but NO SIREN!I did put in a call to OOMA customer service who took info then transferred me to tech support, after a wait, sales picked up and said tech support was busy and would have them call me but it never happened so I'm just returning it and using the phone and audible voice mail to let the intruder know they've triggered the alarm.NOTE - NEVER DID GET THE TEXT NOTIFICATION TO WORK WITH OOMA SECURITY ON MY TRACFONE. HAD NUMEROUS CALLS WITH TECH SUPPORT ON THE SUBJECT AND FINALLY GAVE UP TRYING. THE PHONE AND EMAIL NOTIFICATION WORK SO CAN GET BY BUT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE THE TEXT WORK AS ADVERTISED.

Rendered inoperable due to botched firmware updates
Worked for a year or two, but after a two firmware updates, the device is rendered inoperable. For a relatively simple device, it is too smart for its own good. It needs to be close to the Ooma Telo unit for it to "update", but if that is messed up for whatever reason, it causes all your other security sensors to disconnect.Unregistering and re-registering it does not nothing to resolve the issue. It'll work for an about hour before it brings down the whole security system.(I have noticed that this looks like a white version of the Ooma link. There appears to be a cutout where the phone port should be.)

Finally
Finally! I was waiting for an ooma siren for a long time.Works well. Very easy installation. It's in beta still. So I. I'm sure they have a lot to improve. I really like it though. Now it's a security system.

Not very loud
I really like that this fully integrates with my Tello system. It is fairly easy to set up and seems to work well. The only issue I have is it is not really loud. My smoke detectors make a heck of a lot more noise than this thing does. Could be a five star product if it actually had some volume.

Light broke after several months, poor assistant response and app integration
Activation light stopped working several months after purchase, and there is poor integration in terms of response that I experienced. I would unplug this alarm and the app would say it's still connected and all functions working normally. I tried it for the first time going on a vacation, and Alexa would fail to silence the alarm. Same thing later when I set up with Google Assistant.

Randomly disables your alarm system.
They rushed this thing out before they adequately tested it. There's there's no way it's 105 five decibels. Using my decmeter I was barely able to get 65 db. You can't hear it in the next room let alone next door. When I got the box it said beta which should have been a clue. It's a good idea but wait till they get it perfected before you spend your money on it. I'm kind of disappointed in Ooma as their equipment is usually quite good. I hope this doesn't turn out to be another company that starts with a good product and then tries to rush things out to make more money before they properly test it. It also has a bad habit of randomly disabling your alarm system. You can go to bed with it set to night mode and wake up with it set to off. Not a good thing at all.

Very Happy
I was hesitant after reading some of the other reviews but I really wanted a siren for my Ooma system. I really don’t understand what other reviews are talking about. This thing is plenty loud enough. It’s as loud as my smoke detector which is pretty darn loud. I can even hear it from outside my house with the doors closed. I’ve tested it multiple times and it has gone off every time. I like that the app gives you the open to manually sound the siren before it automatically goes off. I think the other reviews that said it doesn’t activate don’t really understand how the Ooma system works.

As loud as a microwave beep
If you are looking for a door chime or internal beep to let you know a sensor has been activated, then this is just for you. If, However, you want a siren to let burglars and neighbours know that a sensor has been activated, then no. This is not even as loud as a smoke detector. More in the range of a doorbell or microwave beep. I am returning the siren

VERY quiet
Was expecting something quite a bit louder. We can barely heard it if we are more than a couple rooms away.
