Odd that there was only one review for these (5-star) that mentioned all of the other reviews that said these glasses do not darken. In fact—they do not darken even a discernible amount—even in direct sunlight.I got another pair from EYEGUARD the same day and they work as advertised. Not WEARKAPER. Should be WEARCRAPPER. They are going back.

From the reviews I was worried that the glasses would not transition to a usable level. I own a pair of transition sunglasses and these readers transitioned to the same dark level. I can only think those reviewers who said they did not work very well do not realize that transition lenses do not get as dark as normal sunglasses, and hardly work at all if worn in a vehicle.

The transition from clear to shaded is very smooth. Going back inside is when you notice just how dark they get. Awesome product.
