This collection of Ultravox essential music is a value as it has 18 of their best. And it is remastered! The sound quality is much, much better than The Collection which has only 14 tracks. If you are an Ultravox fan, this will suffice. If you are looking to find a better sounding collection of their tunes, but already have all of their albums, get this still. The sound quality alone is worth it as the original recordings were not of the best quality.

This CD has lived in my car since I got it. Definitely has my favorite Ultravox songs and I do like the others.

Just recieved my copy of Ultravox "Essential" today and at the moment on my third listen. Brilliantly remastered, headphone pleasure indeed. Midge Ure's voice is crisp and commanding as are the various instraments of the band. I highly recommend this cd to all seasoned Ultravox fans and to all the new fans, you will be pleased. Now i must get Midge Ure's 2 cd set: "The Works". In the past the record company released HITS cds of both Ultravox and Midge Ure mixed together, which i didn't care for. Now i can choose which one i want to listen to. And the music plays on...

I upgraded from an earlier collection. This collection has much better sound and a better selection of tracks. Ultravox are a great band and it's a shame their music isn't better known in North America. Songs such as "Vienna" and "Visions in Blue" (to name just two) are unforgettable once you've heard them. If you like eighties synthesizer music, this one is well worth a listen!

Solo conocía algunas canciones de este grupo y este recopilatorio no me ha decepcionado. Están todas sus mejores canciones. Lo recomiendo para todo el que le guste la música de los años 80.
