i got these to cover my sneakers for my frenchie's morning walk through the park. i don't like it when my socks get wet. they work perfectly. i felt kinda nerdy but people are always complimenting or asking me about them. the think there are smart.biggest drawback is that they are expensive. they are very, very expensive considering that after a week or so of morning walks, the soles of my sneakers wear holes through the bottoms. i continue use them even after the holes because they still keep water off the top of my sneakers and keep my socks dry. however, don't step in a puddle because the water will fill up inside the cover, which is super gross. i think maybe $10 (or less) would be a more appropriate price for them because of how often they need replacing, which makes them essentially a disposable plastic item.

The good: The XXL size fit my on women's size 11.5 D running shoes. They look like they will keep he rain out due to the snug fit. They have good grip on the bottom so should not be slippery. They seem sturdy and would hold up for multiple uses.The bad: The are hard to put on. Had to struggle to get them over the heel of my running shoe. Once on, they fit snuggly so squeezed my foot to the point of being a bit uncomfortable. The silicone smell is very strong. I have had mine out of the package to air out for 2 days and they still smell bad. They are a little bulkier than I had hoped, which would not make them very convenient to carry around when traveling.

This shoe works well against rain and other muck one might be trying not to get on her shoes. Unlike galoshes, however, its a match to your shoe size, not bigger, so you have to really handle it to get it on. Putting it on is difficult. However, I didn't experience much in slippage or leakage so it isn't a total waste but realistically things I don't want on my shoes, I probably don't want on my hands. A quick fix would be to buy a bigger size than you think you need and handle these while wearing nitrile gloves.

I got these to aid in moisturizing my feet. I oil up a pair of footies and slip these on. The bottoms are flat and textured for stability in walking around the house without leaving an oil trail like most moisturizing socks do. They are comfortable to sit around in while my feet are getting beautiful.

I am going on a trip to the UK soon and was worried about their rainy weather and tennis shoes. Don't want to take more than one pair because of the added weight. So hopefully this will be the answer to dry feet! These shoe covers will easily fit in a suitcase and hopefully do the trick.

Wonderful to keep your expensive shoes dry! I like wearing cute shoes, even when it rains. These slip right over my ballet flats and keep my feet and shoes nice and dry. I take them off when I get inside and don’t have to walk around my office all day in clunky rain boots.

I'm giving only four stars for now because I will not be using these until July on a cruise. They appear as described. They came in the time frame that was posted. They fit according to the size of shoe that I wear.

Not fully water proof unless you get a exact size of your shoe and risk ripping it
