Good meat, wish they gave more for the money.

I got 8 of thee during the $5 sale. I only had one that had a bit too much fat on it, all the others were good. The best way to cook these quickly is to dip them in a nice amount of salt for an hour, cant over-salt it, them wash the steak, and put in a pan of melted butter and garlic at 420 degrees on each side 3 mins, dont touch. after each side, touch to tell doneness. in between your thumb and index finger, with thumb and index closest is rare. spread the thumb and index finger and the firmness you get is well done.

This I really liked, it was flavorful, rich and fresh, I froze it for use later in the week and it unfroze and was just as good. HOW I cooked this may surprise you - I don't have a grill here or a oven for that matter, or even a fry pan. I cooked it in a Microwave browning bag for just 4 minutes (pre-marinade'd for about and hour in a Italian dressing with oil and vinegar -and a coating of Italian bread crumbs - and it came out GREAT. - super juicy medium well done. (What I like about these now hard to get *Brown & Crisp* bags are that you could hold them up after cooking (and waiting about a minute for the meat to regain some of its juices) and pour off the extra liquidized fat-. Anyway - Hamilton Meats - this was a GREAT STEAK - THANKS!

I was prepared to be disappointed, but this steak was actually quite good. I patted dry and drizzled with olive oil and salt and pepper, then broiled it, flipping once. Served it with a melted garlic butter sauce, rice and steamed veggies. The meat was tender and flavorful. I could easily have made two meals of it (others have mentioned getting a four inch steak but mine was much larger...did not measure but it was at least 7"). Will definitely purchase again.

We love this packet of meat..three packs feed a family of 5 and it is the moistest and softest meat ever a fave at our home and worth the price

We used this beef for stir-fry and it tasted great but was tough, which could have been my fault for cooking too long. I will buy it again and take it out of the pan while it is still rare. The beef was the only beef on Amazon that smelled fresh the way beef should. The fat that had to be cut off was way too much considering the small size of this piece of meat. I'm giving it four stars because it's the best sirloin that Amazon sells, which isn't saying that much.
