James Wellbeloved Complete Oralcare Dry Cat Food Turkey and Rice, 300 g

My cat is on a hypoallergenic diet due to her dermatitis and when I adopted her from a rescue centre I was provided with a bag of same brand, James Wellbeloved, but a different variety of cat food. When that bag was finished and it came time to order a new bag, I found this variety also available for the same price.I've had a couple of rescue cats in the past who both had to have all their teeth removed due to the fact that they were all rotten. I did not want to have the same situation repeated, so I decided to buy this variety.The pellets are quite large and square, and my cat definitely has to crunch them slowly to eat them. She seems to relish this and really enjoys her food.Although my cat has never known starvation and is not food motivated, some rescue cats practically inhale their food only to regurgitate it swiftly afterwards. With this food there is no way any cat could do the same!With no extra fillers, the solid waste that she does produce is minimal, has very little odour and is regular in consistency.I will add that she has access to a water fountain and the cat litter I use is silicone based and dessicates the solid waste, again reducing odour.I really believe that what you put in is what you get out, and you get what you pay for. In this case, good quality healthy food means fewer digestive/health issues and less smelly waste, and a happy healthy purry cat!

My cat needed to have 5 teeth removed due to gingivitis so I asked my vet for tips to prevent further problems. The vet recommended dry cat food with large kibble shaped in a way that cleans the cat's teeth. I chose this because my cat had previously loved James Wellbeloved Housecat biscuits, and I also preferred the ingredients list of this food compared to other oral care cat biscuits. James Wellbeloved ingredients are natural and there is a high meat content (rather than cereals etc) which I thought was a definite plus.My cat can't get enough of this food! At first he swallowed the biscuits whole so I was concerned that the oral care qualities were not being utlitised! However, he's now got to grips with crunching the biscuits properly so I'm hoping this food will prevent further dental issues.

I have tried other types of dry cat food as a change for ma' boy but he insists that he will only eat this one! Even other James Well Beloved flavours don't impress him - he much prefers the larger balls that come with the oral care variety and the flavour. I worried he would get bored but seemingly not and he is positively disgusted with me when I try to give him some variety! His breath is lovely (which is as well as he is always coming to rub noses) and he has such a glossy coat. I top up with wet food as he really likes that as well but the goodness is all found in this complete dry food. Please don't ever change the recipe as I don't know what we'll do!!

This organic food is really good for cats and is a complete food. My cat was 'addicted' to Whiskers and wouldn't eat any other food brand because of the sugars and bad fats in it. But when I offered her a bowl of this food she couldn't get enough of it. The large biscuits force her to chew which cleans her teeth, she hasn't got very many so this is great! I would always recommend JWB, it's just healthy, good cat food and this 5kg bag will last about 2 months so fairly inexpensive.My cats fur is in such good condition as it gives her a lot of oils.

We adopted our cat Merlin at 4 months old and ever since he's had a major preference for dry food to the point he won't touch fresh cooked chicken breast or fish. With my previous cats they've all preferred wet food so he is a little odd. I feel a little regretful i hadn't invested in quality food prior to afew months ago because it really has made a difference and not just to his happiness.Flea treatment after flea treatment and i finally figured it can't be parasites, Merlin was losing fur on his tummy, rump and hind legs, he was very irritated and seemed to always be grooming himself.I now genuinely believe it was due to a poor diet or that something in cheaper cat biscuits didn't agree with him. I moved him onto quality dry food like this one and his fur is looking thicker, fuller and has grown back. Not just that but he is more satisfied, content and his eyes light up when it's bowl refilling time.Merlin absolutely loves these chunky cat biscuits from James Wellbeloved and they've done him the world of good, they may not be the cheapest but one 1.5 kg bag at a very rough estimate lasts Merlin 1 month which in my opinion is great value.

I got this dry food for my 1 year old kitten to try and fix his awfully smelly breath - and it worked!Nacho used to be on Hill's Plan but we believe he had a food allergy (losing facial hair and sticky, smelly poo) so we decided to change him to a hypoallergenic diet. The symptoms disappeared in the first week of using this food and it definitely helped with his rancid breath too. Now I can let him lay on my chest without losing my nose hair.He is usually a very fussy cat but he loved this Turkey flavour. The kibbles are a lot bigger than his old food and I noticed he didn't have to eat as much either. Giving him half a bowl in the morning then his wet food in the afternoon would fill him up for the day and a 4kg bag lasted about 7 weeks.I chose to take a star off because of the ingredients. With only 27.5% turkey meal I don't think this food is worth buying when it's not on offer (when I bought it I got a 4kg bag for £12).In conclusion, this product is great if you get to buy it with the discount as the cat eats it and it helps with the oral health. I think when my cat finishes this bag I will change him to a food brand with a higher meat content but keep an eye on this product as well and try and mix things up a little for him.

First of all £12.5 for 4 kilo of JW dry foor is unheard of!!! I bought it for my cat to try because she loves JW, was not sure about this because of the size of the kibble/nuggets. anyways, she loves it, the size does not stop her :).she is 2 years old, teeth are good so hope I will be able to maintain it. I ordered another one, at this price would be crazy not to :)
