This thing is great for the the money.
First off this is my first projector so I have no prior experience with such things. That said I really like it. The images are bright, crisp and super clear. The exhaust fans are even pretty quiet. The initial set up was a bit time consuming but certainly not difficult. My only real complaint about this unit is the remote. It just feels cheap, like dollar store kids toy cheap. But for my purposes I hardly ever use it so its not a huge deal.

Ups and downs
Had this projector for a few months. I got it for about $175 during a lightning deal. With that being said I have to say it is alright for that price. It’s not incredible and not terrible. It’s very nice being able to watch movies and play games on a 105 inch screen, but there’s some pros and cons. The fan is very loud. When using it for gaming, I usually wear headphones and I don’t notice it. But for movie viewing without an external speaker system, it’s loud. The resolution is native 1024x768 (as the description now states). It is not an actual 1080p projector. It well accept 1080p signals but only display them in 720p. The contrast is exactly how it describes in the description 3000:1 so some dark movie scenes or games may seem washed out in darkness or bright scenes will seem a little too over exposed losing some detail in the image. But overall, a watchable, HD screen nonetheless. While playing PS4, I have experienced really no input lag. Jumping from my Samsung LED TV on gaming mode to the Pravette projector, I really don’t feel a difference in input lag. The projector states that it has a 3,600 lumen output but it looks like it could only be referring to the white light and not color. The color lumen output looks way less. BUT it is still a bright image and can be watched with low ambient lighting, it is just not super bright. The one major gripe though I have with this projector is its focus. It does not have a uniform focus. The center can be focused but the corners will be left a little out of focus. There is no way of adjusting it so the entire screen is completely focused.I did have some issues though after the first 2 months. The inside began either sparking or possibly the bulb was flickering like it was burning out. It made loud crackly noises and the screen began flickering. After that the black levels on the left side of the screen became navy blue and colors were slightly washed out as well on the left side. It would get worse with more use. After contacting the seller about the issue, they immediately sent me a brand new projector. It has been about a month and so far I haven’t had that same issue with the new projector. In conclusion, if you want to buy this projector, wait for it to go on sale. $249 it is NOT worth it. This projector is good for gaming(games that don’t require a lot of contrast) and inside/outside casual movie watching. I would not recommend this for a home theater setup or if you’re someone who is looking for 1080p LED tv like image quality.

I was looking forward to having a projector with good sound. From the reviews it sounded good
I was looking forward to having a projector with good sound. From the reviews it sounded good. When I received it the sound was decent but the bottom third of the picture was very blurred. I tried repositioning, no luck. I checked to see if there was tape on the lense, but none. I use it with subscripts for hearing challenged people and this projector was not going to work. Returned immediately.

great value
it is somehow annoying to operate and use. but once you get the hang of it, it is not bad. the picture is clear, the sound is low and there is no sound output except old technology. but for $188 that i paid for, i will get over the shortcomings. the resolution is not bad. it is heavy so it is portable but heavy.

Nice quality
Overall great quality. Doesn’t have good sound. You will need speakers or a sound bar. I put it outside and it has done pretty good. I have to wait until dusk or later to use it or else you can’t see it.

It’s ok...
Perfect for the price but unfortunitley the product doesn’t maintain focuse around the edge of the screen

Picture is rather off
Played around with all the settings and the picture is still so off, really not great, would like to return if possible. I'd spend a bit more money for a better picture quality. the fan isn't too loud so that's nice.
