During the holidays, our icemaker couldn't keep up. Someone went to town to buy ice. My husband emptied part of the bag into the icemaker...and the ice was pretty wet. I tried to tell him the ice would freeze up and cause problems. Well guess who was right?! 😂 It froze to the auger...and when someone pushed the ice button, the auger tried to turn, couldn't and snapped a piece of the plastic off.This new auger looked and fit exactly like the original one. Took less than a minute to install. Very pleased so far!

item is a great replacement and much cheaper than buying from the manufacturer direct. Found a youTube video with instructions on how to install. EZPZ! Works like a charm! PS-items arrived packed well and in good time frame.

This is a perfect fit for a GE GSH25JSCBSS fridge/freezer. I had purchased a cheaper version here off Amazon and it was a knockoff where the lengths were different than the stock auger. I had to come back and order another one and this one was a perfect fit, same size as the original auger. Get this vs the cheaper, knockoff 11 dollar versions!!

Works/fits perfectly. Couple of things to help you out. No directions included, so it's essential that you go to YouTube and find video(s) of how to replace the auger as it's not intuitive. Secondly, the blades on the ice crusher portion that attached to the auger can be confusing to reinstall. Might want to take a picture of them prior to disassembly. Also I found that not of all my ice crusher blades were 100% identical although they certainly appear to be. One of them has an almost indistinguishably slightly larger hole to place on the auger. This comes into play when installing the first blade during the re-installation process...so don't get upset and blame your new auger if the first blade won't go all the way flush, just try the other blades to find one that is flush fitting.

The price on a whole new ice maker was astronomical so I just had to get only the corkscrew that routes ice up to the chute. I'm pretty handy and it still took me longer than I would have expected, but hey, it fit perfectly, works great and it was only $18 compare to the $200 - $300 whole assembly was selling for.

This part is factory perfect.This product was perfect. I ordered it to replace a broken part in my ice maker. The part was an exact replacement for the original part, was of very high quality, and installed perfectly (I watched a YouTube video to learn how to do the repair).

SAHM of 3 and I was able to install this during nap time with the help of a YouTube video. Worked perfectly. Inexpensive fix. Would definitely recommend and would buy again if it ever became necessary.
