Tempest Tarot Deck: 78-Card Tarot Deck with Nautical Themes – Oceanic Archetypes, Mythic Creatures, Intuition, and Self-Discovery

Ever since I heard that this indie deck was picked up by US Games, I knew that I had to add the mass-market version to my collection. There were some production problems with the indie's cardstock and packaging, and with US Games producing some of the best cardstock in the mass market, I knew it would get an impressive "makeover." The cardstock now is excellent. And though I'm not a fan of tuck boxes, this new design looks very sturdy!As for the deck itself: This is perfect for anyone who loves nautical-themed decks. The minors are pip-ish, but with a lot of depth. Despite the simplicity of the images, there is a lot you can read into them. I am a big fan of the courts, who all looks really charming. So glad to have this in my collection!

I have had an unhealthy obsession with mermaids and sirens recently, and was on a hunt to find the best deck depiction with inclusion to sailors, pirates, and the nautical theme. I found this deck before it was released to the public and waited a full month in excited anticipation for its arrival. It is HERE, finally, and beyond what I imagined! This deck is stunning, beautiful, and honestly, just super fun. I love the coloring, the unique telling of the Fool's journey through these cards, and the new additions like how the Page cards are all gorgeous, curious mermaids ready to build upon their intelligence in each suit, and the Kraken making his appearance in The Devil AND The Tower. As an impatient woman, this deck was, without a doubt, worth the wait... but thankfully for everyone else who finds this deck now, no wait necessary! :)

Opened this brand new deck and it is missing the King of Pentacles. LOL. I purchased 2 copies on different days. Liked the first one so bought a second and immediately went through 3 times, no King of Pentacles. Deck is no good, and when one card is missing from one box, usually means many cards are missing from other decks as well. It came sealed so is from manufacturing. Very disappointed.

WOW! Just wow! I absolutely love it. The art, the themes, the size, it’s all perfect! As a tarot collector - it’s rare i immediately fall in love with a deck but it happened with this one!
