A great kettleBest buy for me after buying a more costly product which failed on quality of finish and performance this kettle is a bery good buy. Very Efficient, very quiet, stylish with a durable finish.

This is a lovely looking and solid kettle. It is very easy to keep clean. Like in the other reviews I removed the red plastic measuring doofer before I used it, it just unclips from the element. I also had to try the baking soda trick too, but after that the kettle has been great, I think it is worth sticking with it. It is soooo quiet compared to our other kettle which drowned out the TV and sounded like it was going to launch. I have to admit its not as quiet now as when I first got it but that's down to the hard water but its still quieter than our old one and boils much quicker anyway and we don't have to pause the TV anymore.

I can’t believe how long it took me to find a kettle that didn’t have lots of awful reviews which I liked!!I wanted this style of kettle as it’s what I already had and I like being able to fill it from the spout. All the kettles I looked at like this had some sort of problem mentioned in the reviews which pretty much left this oneIt looks great, it boils quickly and very quietlyBut!! I had to boil it full over 10 times to get rid of the horrible taste it was putting into the water. I kind of expected something like that so kept my old one about for a day whilst I boiled it off.All good now. I haven’t rated durability as I’ve only had it 24 hrs.Will update if anything untowards happens

Literally is the quietest Kettle I've ever heard, boils quick, metal inside and out so no odd plasticky tastes, perfect and great value. Looks nice in black finish, wide spout with inbuilt (removable/washable) filter for easy fill, no drip on pour, fully boils the water nice and and hot too, nice wide and clear level indicator on the rear, excellent branded value kettle.

Fantastic kettle. Was a bit worried, as with any online purchase, but this is a quality kettle. The handle has a really (very) slightly annoying ridge and the power flap switch has a slightly "plasticy" feel to it, but overall this feels like quality. It boils fast and is indeed very quiet (not that I was ever bothered about the noise of a kettle). I'm pleased with it and would definitely buy again. The pyramid kettles of the same brand that we normally buy have shot up in price but this doesn't feel like a cheap second. Unsure about the "flavour" and ease of cleaning options for awarding stars but I've given it 5/5 all round.

Bought when my old kettle gave up. Liked the idea of a quiet and efficient kettle from a good make. Kettle is nice looking, comfy handle, lovely pour, no dribbling, which is great. When kettle is put on, even when new, it takes quiet some time to boil, even when not full. MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE THE RED CUP MEASURE FROM THE ELEMENT INSIDE, BEFORE USE, or your drinks are tainted with a nasty plastic taste, which cannot be good for you. I liked the idea of the cup measure, so I would not be boiling excess water, unnecessarily, but this feature went in the bin, due to the taste issue. Lid of kettle has a nice separate handle and lid itself fits snug. Can be used to fill, but I am lazy and just use the spout. I have hard water where I live and as I use the kettle and the inside inevitablely fured up with scale, it makes the kettle scream at high pitch, it sounds like a stove whistle kettle. Don't buy it, if you want it to be quiet. It boils water and looks nice, so I have not returned. I am disappointed as the features I bought it for ( the cup measure and quiet and efficient boil), were not as advertised. I did boil kettle several times over a several days, hoping the plastic taste would disapait, which it did not, until I removed the red cup measure tabs. Don't recommend this kettle.

Quick boiling and quiet while cooking your water. I have no idea how the quiet bit of it works but if you need a kettle that doesn't disturb others in your vicinity this is the one to go for. Not silent but considerably better than other kettles I have owned. Nicely designed shape, and I nearly forgot to mention the red light which goes out after switch trips off.

I am impressed with the quietness and the time it takes to boil water, however, even after following the instructions with regards to cleaning the kettle before use, even removing the red plastic cup marker before cleaning too, there is a chemical taste to tea and coffee and chemical smell inside the kettle. I have boiled the kettle up to the max marker at least ten times at the time of writing this review and there is still an issue. It is not the water either as that is fine with the old kettle, other drinks and by itself. Really disappointed with this taste and smell issue and will see if it can be removed with various methods found online. If not this will be returned ASAP.Update: Sadly, even after 1 month of use the chemical taste and smell persisted, so returned the kettle and received a refund.
