Effective trap
Placed trap in a box and covered partially with a plastic bag for outdoor use. Rain increased rodent activity. Loaded the trap with peanut butter and a candy bar with a Saran wrap bottom liner just in case the mouse or roof rat kill is messy. Two rats dead so far. Nice green light indicator plus soft intermittent beeping to acknowledge kill. Had to roate trap 90-180 degrees and shake a little to unstick and dump kill (if you don't want to open trap and remove manually). Saran wrap bait reused once. Put a new bait after second kill. The plank trap or roller bar didn't work against long rats. One rat was so long the three inches of tail was stick out. If bait is being taken, mice are too small to bridge the kill plates as other posters may have had. Bigger bait may prevent mice from curling and eating at the back of trap. Saran wrap or cut plastic bag will make clean up and rebaiting easier.

It's not working!
Over a month so far in a house that's full of mice. 3 caught in the old fashioned metal traps, yet this thing sits there taking up lots of room and achieving no results. I will update this review should a drunken mouse stumble into it and end up dead but I'm beginning to think there is no chance of that happening.

Don’t see to catch anything. Don’t even take the bait.
