Good quality, not "cheap" feeling! But keep in mind what you'll use it for.
If you want to just hang it on a wall, you might want another version that is more like a cotton bedsheet. Or a chiffon fabric one. But for a beach towel (for a short person) this is great. Some of these mandela designed "towels" currently in vogue are made of a thin, scratchy chiffon fabric, (not good for beach towels, but light, for hanging.) Others are smooth like the best cotton sheets, whilst others are like a rough cotton, like kettlecloth. This one feels like "French terry" cloth fabric; one side softer and more absorbent than the reverse side, which has none fluff. Not as warm (or thick, or as soft) as a blanket, but thicker g warmer than those chiffon or "shinier" versions.Also, this one has a clear design, with pure colors. No muddied or muted colors! Good print job! (not dyed.)Also different: Has no black outlines of each color--if that matters to you. Just straight color, each separated by white, instead of black borders. Good thick white fringe.

Large sized beach towel
I bought this beach towel for my 10 yr. old granddaughter and she loves it. It’s nice and big and wraps her up nicely after a swim.

The towel is nicely colored. The quality is a little thin. It would work better for a wrap verses a blanket.

Thick enough that you don’t feel the hot sun. But not large enough to lay on.
