This doesn't work. It doesn't charge through when connected to the charging cable. It also won't read or recognize USB devices that I hook up to it. Absolutely worthless. I've already thrown away the packagin, or I'd return it. Just going to trash it instead.Update: I was contacted by ikling just a few hours after I posted the original review. Apparently, the company is sending me a replacement that should arrive in the next 7 days. I appreciate their prompt help, and I will update this review again when I receive the replacement..

Doesn't work
This doesn't work with my MacBook. The usb slots don't allow the the port to go all the way in and the external hard drive keeps disconnecting from the laptop. Have tried to use it multiple times with little to no success. Would not recommend.

THE ADAPTER IS NOT AS DESCRIBED
In spite of the note of the manufacturer telling that the adapter may turn hot, the fact is that the cover adapter really turns so hot that it is impossible to touch it. I'll return the adapter as soon i find the way to send the irtem from mexico

No drivers required just plug and play (using Windows 10)
So far it has been working to my expectations which in all honesty are nothing more that to add more USB ports to my laptop which only has one USB C and two standard ports. No issue or complaints at this moment.

Works great!
Got this because 1 of the usb ports died on my macbook died. Works great! Now I can plug in my mouse and charge my phone at the same time.

Doesn't work
I needed this product so i could have a cheap alternate to charge my laptop and have have a mouse at the same time but that mouse does not work with it and its not the mouse i use it with my bigger computer and it works fine if need a good adapter buy an expensive on not this. also the charging is faulty.

This is what it looks likr after just 4 months of normal use. Totally indurable. Recommend to use another product.
