Very happy with this canvas.
I love stretching my own canvases, something about going through the whole process gives me a sense of satisfactory when the final painting is done.Good Canvas Strength:- I'm known to stretch canvases too tight sometimes. Because of this, I rip some of them - pulling too hard. I've never had this canvas rip on me yet - and I've stretched some pretty big formats. Not too thick:- I hate canvases that are too thick to work with. This roll is a really good thickness, easy to cut and it also has a slight give to it, when stretched. The slight give in the canvas helps get those pesky waves out easier, before adding gesso.Soaks well:- I've had canvases that eat gesso - 3,4,5 coats to finish it off. All the ones that I've stretched so far have only needed 2 coats with this canvas. Obviously, it's what your preference is - but this canvas doesn't soak it in like a sponge.A good amount of canvas:- For the price, this roll has a solid amount of canvas at your disposal. 63-inches by itself is a good chunk in one direction - tack on 6 yards to that and you won't run out for a while.I'm so impressed with this canvas that I'm going to make it a staple of all my works from here on out.

solid purchase
Very thrilled with this canvas. I had two frames ready to use, so I cut the canvas to size, and used black Gesso for prime.Note: this canvas is already primed and ready to paint on if you want a white prime.Canvas stretches pretty well, and now have the paintings on my wall. One is 4ft x 3ft, and two others at 4ftx2ft. They look great, and it's makes for plenty of fun for my girlfriend and I to enjoy in. Plus my 4 year old gets a kick out of finger painting on it.Great product, and well worth the money.

Just what I wanted
First of all the canvas came in a wonderful packaging, better than I expected. It was rolled well in a hard cardboard tube with a lid and plastic wrapping. The whole tube was bubble wrapped. That itself was very impressive.I have purchased canvas rolls in the past and they came in all creased and with fold marks. The quality of the canvas and the priming done are also excellent. I am currently painting on large unstreched canvas, placing it on the floor. This canvas works very well for me.

Affordable quality canvas
This is an incredible value for artists who are making their own canvases. The roll came in perfectly intact and undamaged and the canvas is unprimed as the description depicts. Great for people starting out or professionals due to the price point their is no harm in learning on these or producing professional works of art. I will be a return customer for many more of these rolls to come.

By far the lowest quality canvas I've ever painted on :-(
I wanted to like this product because it was cheaper than the usual I get that increased in price. But this stuff ... man, it's rough. Like, physically rough to the touch. I Can Only Imagine getting my brushes caught or my foam brushes ripped apart. Secondly, the stuff creases with even the slightest touch. Third, it has this weird imprinted almost resembles a fossil or something all over the roll. Fourthly, it has The Telltale waves of a roll that's been sitting on its side for a while. Those waves affect the paint and thus the painting. I mean, this thing has failed in like every way shape and form. Thank God the return process has them coming to me instead of me seeking somewhere out in a rush after work. Just checked the pictures, hopefully I was able to capture what I'm talking about

and consequently it is really better to have it delivered by amazon ( cheaper too) ...
I am very impressed by the quality of this 63"x3 yards white unprinted fabric to make canvas. Just apply two layers of gesso and then use sand paper to make the surface smooth, et voila!!! The only cons is that it takes space and does not fit in my car...and consequently it is really better to have it delivered by amazon ( cheaper too) than just buying a piece over the counter.

Definetely high-quality at a convenient price
Definitely a high-quality canvas at a convenient price. I stretched my own when I'm planning for paintings that are larger than 12 x 16 inches and built already several ones that are 12 x 30, 18 x 30 and even an 18 x 48 inches. The canvas is sturdy and smooth, definitely better than level-1 or 2 canvas you might buy at a Michael's or JoAnn stores. The priming is also decent and white enough. However, I'm very picky about this and the reason I did not give it 5 stars it's really because I'd like not to have to further prime my canvas (which I am used to do with any kind these days). However, for the majority of artsts I think this is not an issue. So if you are a portrait painter and usually like to work with an ultra-smooth and white surface prepare yourself to do further priming on this, otherwise for most paintings like landscapes or abstracts you'll be ok.

Just Right
This canvas was perfect for my needs. I am not a professional painter but I took on an extreme project which I chose to do on un-stretched canvas with matte acrylic paints. I did not prime the opposite side nor did I sand the front at all because it didn't require it (again, not a professional here) and I thought the double priming it arrived with was agreeable. Sixty hours of work later and I am very happy with this canvas. I read that painting on un-stretched canvas would cause all kinds of buckling but that wasn't the case with this. A couple of times I laid down some pretty thick, wet coats and it buckled slightly but dried flat. I plan on doing many more projects this way with the rest of my roll.

Buena calidad
Es algodón grueso y tiene muy buena calidad. Es permiable y eso funciona bien para usar en bastidores de pintura.

Good buy
Great value if you want to use it to patch or reline old paintings. The weave is more loose than tight, so might not be so ideal for priming yourself, but I am only hypothethizing as have not done it.

Excellent for the purpose that I intended
Excellent for the purpose that I intended: craft work. I have made several painted 'stuffed' animals and nature shapes for aromatherapy. This canvas is perfect ... it is smooth and even and easy to cut with minimal fray. I'll be purchasing again--when I need to--it's a long roll!
