私のマザーボートに搭載のSATAの帯域は合計して3000MB/ｓくらいのようです。PCH lanesに載せてしまうとマザーボートのSATAと干渉してマザーと合わせて3000MB/ｓしかでません。CPU直結のPCIe lanesに本製品を搭載するとマザーボートのSATAとは別に帯域を確保できるため、そのまま本製品の6000MB/ｓの帯域が確保できます。当製品と同等の内容のカードで合計6000MB/ｓの帯域（スピード）がでないと低評価をしている人も見受けられますが、搭載lanesに間違いがなければ公称値が出るようです。なお、CPUが対応するレーンの上限も同様に影響しますので、44レーン対応のCPUなら間違いないでしょう。私の環境ではとても満足いくものでした。

Works perfect, 16 internal ports, great speed! Be sure to buy the right cables ( HD mini SAS ). advanced BIOS control and configuration is from web browser

Stay away if you are buying for raid 6, this does not support raid 6 in bios, only through webui, which is just about useless.
