The Fish 101 x NVS template was designed for team rider Eli Park. A super grom who is fearless in the water; Eli needed a fin template that would hold up in larger surf as well as support his progressive, high performance style. The wider base and extended rake helps smaller surfers generate speed and hold it through arcing carves. The narrow tip style provides optimal release off the top and allows for high speed, tight radius turns. The Fish 101 Small is a slightly scaled up version of the Fish 101 Grom template; an ideal thruster set for up-and-coming lightweight surfers looking to take their surfing to the next level. The Fish 101 fins are one of the first in our line of Apex Series fins made with a solid piece of precision foiled G10 fiberglass for the ultimate in performance and durability. The combinations of ultra durable G10 and precision foiling make a fin that is stronger and has the flex of your traditional honeycomb or carbon fins. G10 is made by compressing layers of fiberglass and epoxy resin and baking it an autoclave to have the maximum strength of any fiberglass available.
