RiverRidge 06-098 Spacesaver, White

I was looking for a spacesaver that didn’t engulf my small bathroom. The previous one made this space look dark. I found this one and was hesitate because it looked weak. It’s pretty sturdy and depending on your bathroom set up the wall and sink could add to stabilizing the unit. The shelves are strong.It was an easy set up for those that like to build stuff. I would say 30 minutes with no power tools. Just a good old fashioned screwdriver. It’s sturdy but be mindful of placing so many heavy objects on it. My brother secured it to the wall (hardware included in box).Sorry for the mess but this is a real review and I’m demonstrating how much stuff you can put on spacesaver.

This ladder shelf is great. It came quickly, looks as expected and seems to be well made (time and bathroom humidity will tell.....).I’m giving this four stars instead of five because of one unexpected problem : having just remodeled I have one of the new dual option flush toilets which come with an elongated seat and are slightly higher than toilets of years ago. The seat lid hits the lowest shelf when lifted and prevents the lid from lifting /opening completely. I was able to solve this problem by removing the shelf from the ladder “legs” and affixing the shelf section directly to the wall. This wasn’t my initial plan and changes the look from a leaning ladder to a wall mounted shelf. But it works and I still have shelves of varying depth , which I wanted.

I couldn’t be more pleased with this spacesaving shelving unit! My guest bathroom is small-ish in size, and so this unit allows for more room to store/display towels and knickknacks. Size is perfect, and it was very easy to assemble.

Love it! Fits perfectly in my half bath. Did take a little bit of time to put together, but was something I could do without my husbands help. We definitely had to secure it to the wall, it wobbles a bit. One thing I can complain about is the back ‘strap’ board if you will. We couldn’t use it because it was placed right where our toilet plumbing was. It was needed to make it extra sturdy. However since we secured it to the wall, all is well. Still LOVE the product.

I ordered this to go inside of a closet and it works perfectly and fits the space nicely. The instructions were very easy to follow and everything came labeled. perfectly. It states not to use power tools when assembling and I can see why! I was using a regular screw driver and in my attempt to tighten one of the screws I ended up stripping the hole. So one spot was pretty loose and wiggly but once I assembled it fully it was pretty sturdy.

I’m a big fan of the leaning ladder shelves so this shelf fit it well with the rest of my household decor.It is not the most stable shelf on its own, but once you add the bottom brace, secure it to the wall, and put some weight on it it’s not as unstable as some have claimed. It was a minute annoyance to put together but not nearly as bad as it was to put together the two others we tried before finding this one. We have old toilets in our place so this was one of the few shelves we found that was big enough to fit around the 22” wide tank.Overall pleased with the shelf and the doubling of storage space it provided for the tiny bathroom I put it in.

It’s a nice organizer, definitely don’t think it’s worth over $30, but I do like that it came with the things to anchor to the wall, it looks nice, I like that it’s wood instead of metal or plastic, but it does what it’s supposed to.

I know that this is a less expensive option, but this is flimsy. I struggle with the quality of this piece. It also is not grayish wood, it is just painted solid grey. Very different from the image. I was disappointed :(

Pros:This is an easy to assemble ( they have stickers on each piece that match the instructions so you literally put piece 1+ 2 together)Looks like the photo, comes as described, shipped quickly.Cons:You will need to mount this to the wall or else it won't be sturdy. I did not want to drill a hole in the wall so I used industrial velcro strips that attached to the back of the shelves to secure the unit. If you use the wall mount or something else that attaches to the wall, it's nice and sturdy.It is a tad expensive for such a simple thing however, looking at the prices on the market it seems they're all overpriced so it's not all that different from what's out there.

I cannot express how delighted I am with this storage unit. It was received on time in perfect condition and parts out of the box.Assembling was a charm and extremely easy. I stress ‘extremely’. The instructions were right on!!Looks perfect in my bathroom and stores a significant amount of items. Really love it.Final note is to probably use the wall brace. May be a bit wobbly. I have tile floors in the bathroom, so I’m careful with the weight.Definitely recommended and would purchase from this merchant again!Patty

Easy to put together. Solid shelves so nothing falls through and easy to clean.

Reason for 3star..Leg was dent ,too wobbly however looks nice when it all put together to bad for this to happen ...

We were so excited for this and it was such a disappointment. Sending it back. Toilet seat can't lift/stay up cause bottom rung is to low. Its wobbly and when put together the mdf split. As well, there was a scratch on it upon arrival.
