I knew I wanted a nice thick mat since I have hardwood floors. My old mat would slip and slide and started stretching. I got this one to give me some cushion. I really love this mat. It is durable, comfortable, hasn’t slipped on my hardwood floor, easy storage with strap, and the extra small mat was an addition pad for yoga moves on my knees helped greatly. I would highly recommend especially if you are a plus size girl like me or have trouble with knees.

Very soft for bones!

Have only had for a short time but love how soft and thick the mat is, great for my bad knee when exercising. Much better than my old mat.

I needed a thicker mat to protect my joints for barre and yoga. The vendor is great and I effortlessly exchanged one that came with a defect. The knee pad on top of the already thick mat is especially comfortable. Only downside is balancing if on one foot—softer surfaces are inherently less stable but that’s not the mat’s fault. I’d rate this a 5.5 out of 5!

Well padded, love the color!

This mat is 1" thick, which is substantially better than the 1/2 ". The knee pad is a big plus and added protection for the knees. It is ridged on the bottom to help prevent slippage on a smooth surface floor.

My order was missing the knee pad for my green mat , don’t want to have to return but want the knee pad to match others I bought. Would have rated very high but needed the knee pad that I paid for.

This mat has helped me enormously. I have a back injury and when I work out, part of what I do involves lying on my back. Since my injury, this wasn't possible. Now, with this new one inch thick mat, I am able to do more things and do them comfortably. Did the mat have marks and indentations that will never come out when it arrived? Yes. Does that bother me? Nope. The reduced pain trumps the marks on the mat. I recommend this product.
