8 Inch Himalayan Natural Crystal Salt Lamp with Bulb and Cord

I tried to rub this lamp on my mashed potatoes, but I guess it wasn't designed for that. But what it does do is add a very nice glow in the living room. I like the way it shadows the stuff around it in the bookcase so much I'm leaving it on all night as a night light.It's been said that warmed Himalayan salt could very well spread positive energy waves into the air. I'm not sure that is true, but since plugging in the lamp, I've lost 6 pounds, received a promotion at work, my bald spot is starting to fill in, and my girlfriend says that the glow from the salt lamp has made me strangely sexy. Hopefully, The Lamp will help her with her vision.I lost custody of my last Himalayan Crystal Salt Lamp a few years ago in a nasty break-up. It was priced about the same, but was not nearly as big as this one. Give it a try, and remember: Salt is Sexy. MM

I ordered three, and have generally enjoyed the lamps. But one arrived with a broken bulb, and when I sent another on to my daughter, it's bulb broke in transit. No literature about replacing the bulb came with the lamp, and you cannot tell from the online product description if anything special is required. But Amazon faithfully Emailed ads for a pack of obviously longer replacement bulbs that don't look at all like the original bulb. That made me mad enough to simply use clear white-light Christmas-tree bulb replacements, instead of spending more money and time on something that should have been better explained and provided for originally.

The packaging was flimsy. The light bulb was broken and the lamp obviously had been "bumped around" quite a bit as the edges are all marred. Of other note, there isn't any information in the box to say what wattage of bulb to use or anything relating to the benefits of salt lamps. I guess that's what I get for buying cheap and expecting anything of quality.

This lamp arrived damaged. The bulb had been smashed and some of the salt was chipped from the top of the lamp with cardboard embedded in it. The original box (not the shipping carton) was broken with the lamp protruding through the top. The lamp was too big for its box and there was no suitable packing inside. Between the original box and the shipping carton were two pieces of wadded up paper that were inadequate as it allowed the lamp freedom to tumble around. I was able to replace the bulb and clean the cardboard out of the top of the lamp. This is my first experience with other than five star satisfaction through Amazon.

The light bulb arrived completely crushed because the salt rock and other parts were hitting each other the whole time inside an over-sized box with only thin layer of paper wrapped around them. I was lucky enough to not get cut from light bulb pieces.There are very obvious glue marks exceeding to the wooden base, they did a very poor job on this.The wire is so scratched that I would not even buy it in a thrift shop. Looks like a piece of garbageThis is to my consideration the worst quality you can get on a salt lamp, do not waste your money here.

I am using simliar salt lamp. I need additional salt lamp around the house. I found it help to releif my sinus and allegy.

I needed another salt lamp and the price was much better than I could get here in Tacoma. Good value
