Maepranom Shrimp Paste 350g

I bought this for making kimchi, which turned out to be tasty. I did not use it all at once, so froze the remainder.

Been looking for this everywhere. And this is a good product

It was not nice at all. Tried it in different recipes and the outcome was a horrible aftertaste

Excellent taste in curryour broth

If you like strong salty, fish, anchovy, gentleman's relish type flavours, then you will like this. A small teaspoon of paste dissolved into your stir-fry broth will imbue a great fishy Unami. Remember less is more. A small tub of this (in the fridge) lasts me a month or 3. If you overdo it, it can get too salty, but it's good to lift the taste of bland tasteless white fish dishes.
