In spite of extremely tiny fonts on the instruction sheets [I am very near sighted and even I could not read them] I managed to get them working with my Echo Spot... but only with the help of an Amazon rep. So, the rating is an average of 1 star for the unit as received and 5 stars for how it turned out.

This outlet is FAR to far to share a power strip with others. It takes up two spaces, which is not what it claims or shows in photos. The set-up app is a nightmare and, if you make an error, you cannot delete a device and redo it. It took an hour and two accounts to link these two devices. Overall, very unsatisfactory and not for those who lack tech confidence.

This product arrived on time and was packaged well. However, the instructions are nearly impossible to read without a magnifying lens. And after numerous tries I cannot get them to connect. This could well be my own problem, I accept that. I had hoped they would be a little easier to connect and use however. Other than that, these are well made.

Awesome product after I got it installed but...getting them to initially sync with my wifi was a half-day of effort, crawling through every router setting imaginable. I had to completely remove every household device off of the wifi, change the frequency of the router, add the smart plugs, THEN add all my other devices and reset the frequency to auto. In that order. Good grief...

I bought these and an additional echo dot my family room and they work amazingly once I got them hooked up correctly! (No hub needed). Be patient getting them hooked up with the app, but once they are connected you will be very satisfied!!

I've had these for nearly a year and they have worked flawlessly. The app had gotten better and better over time. The developers have constantly been upgrading and updating the app. I will definitely stick to this brand.

The product only worked once, then after that failed to reconnect. I had to return both plugs. The bad experience of trying multiple times just put me off. I do not wish to spend two weeks making something work.

These are larger than I expected, so large that I can't use two in the same plug. Other then that they are awesome.
