Effective mosquito control
As a customer who has used the Mosquito Killer Electric Lamp, I am providing a review outlining the good and bad aspects of this item. The good:1. Effective mosquito control: The Mosquito Killer Electric Lamp utilizes a combination of UV light and a high-voltage electric grid (4500V) to attract and eliminate mosquitoes and other flying insects. The powerful electric grid ensures a quick and efficient kill, helping to reduce mosquito populations in your living space.2. Safe and chemical-free: This mosquito killer lamp offers a safe and chemical-free solution for insect control. It does not require the use of harmful chemicals or insecticides, making it a suitable option for households with children, pets, or individuals with sensitivities to chemical products.3. Wide coverage area: With its 20W UV light, this mosquito killer lamp can attract insects from a significant distance. It provides a wide coverage area, making it suitable for use in bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, or other areas where mosquitoes are a nuisance.4. Easy to use and clean: The lamp is easy to set up and operate. Simply plug it into a power source, and it starts attracting and eliminating insects. Cleaning the unit is also straightforward, usually involving removing a tray or drawer to dispose of dead insects. The bad:1. Noise level: The electric grid used to kill insects can produce a buzzing sound when insects come into contact with it. While the noise level may vary among different models, some users may find the buzzing sound disruptive, especially if the lamp is used in quiet environments such as bedrooms or offices.2. Limited effectiveness for other insects: While the Mosquito Killer Electric Lamp is primarily designed to target mosquitoes, it may not be as effective in capturing and eliminating other types of flying insects such as flies or moths. The lamp's specific wavelength of UV light may not be as attractive to these insects.3. Placement limitations: For optimal performance, the lamp's positioning is essential. It is recommended to place it away from competing light sources and at an appropriate height to maximize attraction. This may require some trial and error to find the ideal placement in your space. In summary, the Mosquito Killer Electric Lamp is an effective and chemical-free solution for controlling mosquitoes and other flying insects. It offers a wide coverage area, easy operation, and simple maintenance. However, it may produce some noise due to the electric grid, and its effectiveness may be limited to mosquitoes specifically. Additionally, finding the optimal placement for the lamp may require some experimentation. Overall, it provides a convenient and eco-friendly option for reducing mosquito populations in your surroundings.

More like bug atomiser :)
This is superb. We have ours set up in the kitchen and it also provides a good light at night time. Be aware that the zaps are mostly very loud and can make you jump.

Terrible. Karma came knocking.
This is just an energy guzzler with zero use. The cable is so short to can hang it off your doorstep if you have a socket on your doorstep, or buy a long extension lead that’s light because this is very light. We live by water so you can imagine the bugs. Last night I turned it on. I heard 2 zaps. Went to check, the two bugs(out of 100’s) it got, shook their legs off and did the equivalent of flipping it the bird and signalling to me they would come back with their crew. I lay there with its mafia family coming back to retaliate for my sins. Covered in bites. If you don’t want retaliation and want to send a message to their crew to steer clear, get one that actually works because karma is a mosquito.I really wouldn’t buy this. Also the video review on their page is not really useful. It shows you a little bit about it but the reviewer doesn’t actually discuss if it works. Very odd to use that as advertising. I missed that at purchase point, would have put me off.

Loud!
Works ok, but gives a very loud crack which scares the dogs.

Kills flies
Gets rid of the flies, at first when it's plugged in you may jump as the zap can be hired and it's instant kill to those annoying flies, cable could be longer as this is small so you need a power supply near

Does a brilliant job
We bought this for our canal boat in September when flying insects - particularly 'jennies' - were driving us crazy. It works extremely well and is easy to empty/clean - though it took me a while to find the clever device for cleaning the internal frame.I can thoroughly recommend it.

Lead is far too short, cannot plug and hang
Moths love it. My dogs get freaked out by the snap when insects are zapped. Not attracting as many flies as I thought it would.
