The 20in was the perfect length for me as I do have a bigger neck area. It's sturdy and holds my pendant nicely. The only complaint I have is it is on the brassy yellow side. I'm used to more softer color gold, but it doesn't look too cheap and works for the price.

The gold coloring, 18k gold overlay is pretty brassy looking. The chain by itself is fine but with a gold pendant, the color difference is obvious. The price still makes it a good value though.
