Very Disappointed. Worked for a few Weeks, Now its Buggy!
The media could not be loaded. ย I was very hopeful that this camera would be good, but unfortunately I've been having a lot of issues lately where it just doesn't work. It worked flawlessly for a few weeks right out of the box. The setup was quick, only took me about 5 minutes to get the thing streaming onto my phone. However, a month later, when I click on the camera to view it on my phone it simply says the camera is offline and there's nothing I can do to get it to work. I've tried resetting the camera by unplugging it, leaving it off for a bit, and also tried resetting my phone app, but the only thing that has worked so far is that I have to remove the camera from the app and I have to add it as if it were a brand new setup. This only takes a few minutes to do, but you have to physically be there next to the camera to push the reset button located on the back of the camera. If you are away and need to use this for security reasons, this would be a HUGE problem. I have verified that I am running the latest firmware (v5.3.1.1907121406 as of 8/23/19).I wasn't too impressed with video quality either. I have another camera that is also 1080p, and the video quality is much better (during the day). Night vision is pretty good, and comparable to my other cameras. Both cameras are using a wireless connection.Overall, not very happy with this camera, but when it works, it works great and it was at a decent price. It's why I have given it 3 stars. I'm only using this to monitor my 3D printer, so it's not a huge deal if it stops working. I've figured out a work around, but I will consider purchasing a more robust camera and putting this in a storage box to collect dust.

App Restriction Issues
The Ebit camera comes with most of the features I could want, with remote viewing, pan/tilt, and zoom as well as two way audio, 128G recording, motion detect, scheduled recording, and night vision. The video quality is good. The pan/tilt is choppy, and these are for indoor use only, but my main gripe is the Ebit Cam App, the only app with which this camera will connect (So far). First, it isn't for PC operation as well as smartphone. While your smartphone goes everywhere with you for remote viewing, set-up and operation of a full smarthome is better from a PC central base in the home. I have repurposed an old laptop to this function and it's a way better interface when you are actually in your home. Second, I am not fond of 2.4G connection only items. I get that 2.4G has better coverage and use it myself for smartgadgets, but limiting options is never a good sales strategy. Third, I hate brand restrictions to apps which are there exclusively to allow vendors to both limit your purchases of expansion items to their brand and allow for them to data mine, and make a secondary profit selling your activity history, or worse contain a malware Trojan horse. This is the quickest way to lose me as a tech customer. I have zero intention of using dozens of apps to run my smarthome or replacing the rest of my current security cameras with their brand for compatibility, nor do I intend to have *someone I am paying for a product* dictate what products I can use in my own home. Pretending this is 'for your security' is an insult to the intelligence of the client, as the simplest and most effective security step is to put smart items on a separate WI-FI connection. These are usually simple to set up on your router and put a Chinese wall between your regular Wi-Fi activity and smarthome usage. Why? It's a barrier to data mining.I will update my review if I find another compatible app or work-around.

Increased Peace of Mind
I purchased this camera to add some extra security at my apartment. It has been terrific! It was very easy to set up and really gives excellent visual coverage. I say that the app does take a little bit of getting used to, but once you've used it for a couple of weeks you get used to navigating it. The picture quality is great, especially the night vision, which is super clear. Features that I really like are the ability to zoom in or pan around the room to adjust your view. I noticed because of the amount of light that enters my apartment, anytime a cloud passes and the lighting changes, it will activate as motion, which isn't a bad thing because at least I know it's capturing all activity. I was able to adjust the motion alert sensitivity and it doesn't do it as frequently anymore. Great camera for the price. The only feature I wish the camera had was a backup battery. So that in the event of a power loss it would still record even if you couldn't see the videos live. Definitely happy with the purchase, useful for added peace of mind!

Delayed feed is very irritating
I HATE HATE HATE the lag that this camera has. It's a very clear picture, but the delay between real life and camera is too much. Baby ready to fall out of crib? You won't see it on the camera until AFTER it happens!Sound quality is ok. Night vision is pretty good. But I'm so tired of the delay that this camera has. Sometimes I cannot get the camera to load up the video feed at all. It can take at least 30 seconds to load the video feed from when I sign into the camera. This is very frustrating at night when I hear baby crying! I bought the camera so that I could check in on him without entering the room every time he cries. When the feed doesn't load, I have no choice but to enter the room to make sure he's ok which sometimes wakes him further and makes it harder for him to fall back asleep. The other downfall is that this camera has no monitor. Yes, using my phone is convenient when I'm out of the room for a minute, or when he's with a babysitter and I want to check in on them, but not convenient to leave the feed up on my phone all night.

The best IP Camera I've bought, and I've had a couple now. Great Features, easy to setup and superb picture quality.
The media could not be loaded. ย This IP Camera arrived well packaged in a cardboard box.The Box contained 1x IP Camera, 1x USB Charging Cable, 1x 3 Pin UK USB Power Supply, 1x Ethernet Cable, 1x Mounting Kit including Fixings, 1x Instruction Manual.I'm a huge fan of these IP Cams, and have recently purchased the cheaper 720 version of this camera. I was that impressed and have a need for another, I've decided to step up to this slightly more expensive 1080 Full HD model. If your unsure what an IP camera is, it's basically a HD camera that connects to your home network (in this case either Hard wired or wirelessly) and allows you to use an App on a smart device to view the camera's stream from anywhere in the world as long as you have a network connection. This Ebitcam range is by far the easiest I've come across so far to set up and get running. It also provides the best picture quality, and fluidity of movement from any of the other camera's I own.The camera itself is very well made from durable impact plastic. Setup involves switching the camera on, then installing an app on your smart device called Ebitcam. You can install this either via the provided QR code or a simple search of your devices App store. Once installed just follow the simple instructions for adding the camera. When asked for a username use an email address you have access to as you will need to validate your email address to confirm it does belong to you. Once you've set the app up just add a camera by pressing the + symbol in the top left corner of the App, and follow the simple on screen instructions. (Press reset on the rear of the camera, enter your Wifi Networks password and place your phone close to the camera when it's generating an weird squeaky audio command). The 720 model has a smaller field of view than this version, with this it fits in the whole width of my living room. The level of zoom on this brand of cameras is also far superior to any other model I've tried, and is again much clearer. When using the Pan and Tilt feature the motors on the camera are virtually silent, again unlike any other model I've used before, with most models making a noticeable whirring noise when they move. As expected this model provides a superb picture quality. I was impressed by the 720 version and the upgrade to this model is noticeable. Both the video and the photos are crystal clear with excellent colours. The camera has an array of built in Infra Red LED lights that allow images to be captured even in complete darkness. Recordings can be recorded directly onto the Camera if you install a Micro SD card (Not Provided) or recorded on demand via the app onto your smart device. The camera also has a motion detection feature that will alert you and record automatically if it detects movement. You can also schedule recordings. The Camera can record audio and you can even use the App to speak through the Camera. This is also the easiest app I've seen for accessing recordings made on your smart device on PC's. You just have to enter a supplied IP address into your browser to be able to download the recording to your PC / Laptop. Both the 720 and this model are superb cameras. If your on a tight budget then the 720 model really won't disappoint, but if you can stretch that little bit of extra cash then this is the model I would recommend.

Worst company on Amazon
Setup took 2 hours. I'm not joking. I'm on the 2nd floor of my house while the router is in the basement. It couldn't connect so I tried to connect it to my wifi extender which is in the same room, and it didn't connect for a very long time. It briefly connected and said the software had an update. I made the mistake of pressing this which made the device disconnect for some reason. It's finally working now. DONT UPDATE IF YOU DONT WANT TO WASTE HOURS ON THIS STUPID THING.The video quality is very good. However it doesn't connect to Google Home!! I bought it with the intention of using it with my GH because the description says "smart wifi". I'm so disappointed about this.Edit: I refunded this. They tried to get me to change my review and give me a PARTIAL refund. They had the audacity to ask me to lie in my review but not even give me all of my money back. They keep messaging me repeatedly to get me to change my review!!! I'm pretty sure they paid for the reviews they have on this item. Avoid this company at all costs.Edit 2: they refunded me fully after returning it, and then they tried to buy me off by offering me $10 to change my review to 5 stars. Honestly I could have used the $10 but if it means this will deter others from buying from this horrible company then it's not worth it!!!

Fully featured IP camera at a great price
My first one got lost in the post, but ebit customer service was excellent in getting me a replacement.I have the camera pointing outside, through a window ... so it was crucial to be able to switch off the IR night vision mode. This slightly more expensive 1080 model is worth the extra cost: picture quality is still great when zooming in whilst watching live feed on the app: pinch to zoom, swipe to pan across.I offered one suggestion to improve the app - currently you can only delete motion alerts one at a time, which is quite tedious after you've accumulated more than a few dozen clips.Note that the SD card is not necessarily hot plug-able. May have to restart the camera before it recognises the card.

Great camera and perfect for the house
I got this for my house, it doubles nicely as a security camera and to see what is happening at home. All around it is a great camera, it sadly wont work with modern routers (or superhubs) unless you enable 2.4ghz channel manually and create a separate SSID (the default settings usually has 2.4 channel on but it wont work on the SSID unless it is separate). I opted for wiring mine up instead. The setup was a bit messy (it should be simple for them who have a 2.4ghz router though) but it didn't take too long to get it working, i spent a good 10 minutes going over the settings getting it to work how i wanted (audio recording, full 24hours recording instead of only motion whilst still offering motion support) but once it is up and running it works like a gem.The picture quality is amazing, i went for the 1080p version, it record audio (not the best for good enough) and even features a speaker so you can use your phone as a mic to communicate through.Perfect for security and motion support lets you either only record when something is happening or in my 24hour case, find markers on the video files when motion was detected.Great camera. I only gave it 4 stars due to it randomly stopped working and i had to reset it, it only happened once and never again and my settings remained so it only took 5 minutes or so to fix. I have since got a few others, i use them for home security and they even double nicely as a pet cam to see what your fluffy friends are up to whilst your out.

Failed and replaced
The software for windows defaults to an oriental language (even at install) which is a bit annoying, but the software and camera are fairly decent; it proxies through the internet, even when accessing the camera on your local network, so if the server is down, you'll lose access to the camera; you can access a local stream but the menu item for that isn't exactly obvious.Since an update (to the camera or the app, I'm not sure) you cannot zoom properly on the Android app. Zoom is not possible at all from the Windows app or Web app. When you zoom on android the picture is stretched on the vertical making everything look squashed on the horizontal. it disconnects every so often but that's more to do with the Internet functionality. It's ok, but it's not perfect; it's reliable however it's got worse over time, not better. Support is lacking/non-existent so if it doesn't work don't expect too much assistance. I tried to raise a support ticket in the app and it would only accept my cell phone number as a contact detail but not an email address - I haven't had a phonecall unsurprisingly!Lose 1 star for the language defaults and not having multi language support on the installer. but good product!-- update after X months --Replaced as unreliable and frequent blank screens requiring total reboot. Firmware fails to update and now basically useless as a nanny cam.
