When my order arrived I was instantly surprised by the heft of it. Good sign. The chips have a great feel and have an expected heft (not just cheap plastic), and the playing cards were serviceable and normal.I used them to play poker at my buddy's bachelor party and they were perfect. Great value, highly recommend!

We love this poker set. We play poker all the time with our grandkids but we live on a boat and didn't want the flimsy cardboard box of chips that we had previously to spill all over the boat. So I ordered this one and it did not disappoint. The chips are very high quality and fit nicely into the case. The case itself is excellent quality and fits nicely into the cubby we have to store it in. Can't recommend it enough.

This is my second entry-level poker set and I got this set to add more chips for playing Texas Holdem. The color and pattern matched closely enough.Here's what I liked:- Comes with 300 chips. This is just enough to play a 4 or 5 handed game of holdem. But if you actually want to practice bet-sizing, you will need a lot more chips.- Comes with 2 sets of Bin Wang cards. Maybe it's just preference, but I don't like how the cards feel and how they shuffle. Not bad for an emergency set of cards, but I will replace these with standard Bicycle black label cards.- Big Blind/Small Blind/Dealer chips are nice, bright, and big.- Comes with a sturdy nylon case (I prefer this over the aluminum briefcase sets). The only thing I didn't like was the big "Pure Play" logo in orange and yellow on the front. A smaller logo off to the side would have been a better look.Things to consider:- The chips are OK quality for entry-level chips. They definitely don't feel like casino chips, but they have a decent weight to them. They don't have a strong odor or noticeable residue on them. There is some plastic/ABS flashing left on the edge of some of the chips (from the molding/manufacturing process) as well as a slight dusty residue on the chips. These were slightly worse than the chips I got from another brand but nothing a soapy bath doesn't fix.If you're trying to get more chips to practice bet-sizing, this is a good option for the budget-minded.

This is a splendid set of quality poker chips. The chips are heavy like you'd find in a casino. The six stacks of chips, less the carrying case, cards, etc., weigh eight pounds. The carrying case is excellent, very robust. Yes, the cards are chintzy, but who cares; buy some Bicycle brand cards. I couldn't be happier with this set.

I bought these for my son as a gift. He was very pleased with it. The case is exceptional and seems to be very high quality. The chips are very heavy. He liked the fact the chips do not have denominations printed on them.
