I love this. It’s strong and made of good material. I have my badge plus keys and other stuff and it’s still going strong. Worth every penny. It seems heavy, but it doesn’t weigh my collar on my shirt down, which was surprising.

I have bought several different kinds of these key/id "chains" and they have all broken due to different reasons. I wanted to find something that would last constant use, and I'm glad I found these. These items are very rigid, big, tough, and I'm assuming durable. They feel strong and use a kind of thin metal retractable wire. They are massive and a bit heavy, which is why I'm going for 4 stars instead of 5. However, they have done the job so far and have outlasted my previous ones. I've only had these for about a month and they have worked flawlessly. I forgot to mention that I had my ID a d several keys on the previous ones, which I guess were to heavy for the chains. Not these. They are heavy duty and can handle a lot more weight on them which is why they have lasted me longer and I hope continue to last.

These have a little heft, but you can feel how solid they are. I mean, it has a wire cable instead of some string. This will last a bit, I think.

Product didn't last a full year. Purchased in Jan 2023 and the cable broke in December. I used it everyday during the school year. Product seemed to be well made and it doesn't jingle like other key retractors. It broke just a few inches from the key so something inside the mechanism caused it.

Retracts nicely and great quality. I would buy again if needed.

Surprised by high sturdy it feels. Looks like it should be very reliable.

Lasted 10 months before cable broke off at the brass connector. The metal housing is nice but useless if the cable ends of breaking off.

Apparently there is a small screw that holds everything together. After 1 week of normal usage the lock screw got loose then the whole thing exploded. Wouldn't recommend this product.

These have held up through a rough season of snow removal. No rusting even though it’s constantly wet and in contact with salt and de-icer. GREAT PRODUCT
