Great pole for skimming and vacuuming. Have an 18'x36' pool with 10' deep end. Need to extend the pole fully when vacuuming and it allows me to reach the other side while still feeling sturdy. My prior pole would bend like crazy and I had to bend it back multiple times. This pole has been great for 2 seasons now.I too had a problem like some others have mentioned, with being unable to unlock the pole. First time I used it, I twisted it way too tight. Just wasn't sure what to expect. I had to get a couple jar cover grips and eventually got it unlocked. Haven't had an issue since. Highly recommend for the price.

We have a large in-ground cement pool, about 30,000 gallons. We use this pole for our vacuum and brush heads and have had no problems with it bending or warping in the deep end (which is what we were worried about after reading other reviews). We love it, works for us! We also bought the Swimline 3-Piece Anodized Outside Cam Mailer Telescopic Pole as well to test out to see which we like better. But we love that pole just as much - no bending or warping on that one either. Both work great for us, especially in the deep end applying pressure while sweeping/brushing.

After 3 attempts we got a pool pole that is working great. Suppler needs to improve on the packaging; no one seems to know how to handle the pole without it getting damaged in mailing

It's much easier to lock and unlock the two pieces than others I've had, which is great. But the packaging for shipping is terrible, it's just in a thin plastic tube/bag. This doesn't protect it from being damaged. Mine arrived slightly smashed on the end for attachments which i had to reshape to attach my skimmer net. Also the white handle has several scratches and black marks on it, that I'm not able to remove.

High quality for pool

The telescoping pool pole that I received, in my opinion, is just shy of being a true piece of garbage. The tightening handle worked for a couple days (only), than wouldn't tighten/lock the pole to the set length any more (the pole would simply slide past the tightened handle with ease, basically making the length-setting aspect useless).What a piece of crap that, unfortunately, I still use and struggle with every time that I clean leaves from, or sweep the pool). Every single time that I use it, I find myself wishing that I had purchased a different one.

This thing is sturdy, and the handle makes adjustment so much better than the smaller old style. Have had it extended fairly long and it seems to hold up very well.
