birthday gift
went to the Rose Parade this year and the B-2 was the fly over. My son fell in love with it. I went and bought this model for his birthday and he loved it. I would not recommend it for kids under 5 since the material is very hard on it

Model great, stand not so much
The model of the plane is great. Looks great, has good graphics, prop turns and the detail is good for being 1:90 scale.The stand? Let's put it this way. The design team that created this product put effort into model and at the last minute someone said :Shouldn't we have a stand?" And the rubbish little stand was approved. The overall display is top heavy but it is stable. The stand could use more thought in it's design and appearance. Overall a good model and nice to display on your desk etc. Recommend this product.

Very Cool
Very cool or should I say Das ist ja geil :) I purchased used and to my surprise it is in very great shape. This is my second one and I took a chance being used, I'm really glad I took the chance.

Detailed Model of a P-51D Mustang
Preassembled metal model of a P-51D Mustang fighter aircraft flown in WW II as a bomber escort over France and Germany and also in the Pacific Theatre. The model is very small but the detail is incredible. I gave this away to a Veteran in the Illinois Veterans Home Manteno Illinois where I volunteer who actually flew this aircraft during the Vietnam War (yes, they DID fly them during that war so don't believe everything you read on the Internet). He loved this model!! I have ordered the 50th Anniversary Mustang P-51D 1/32nd see through model with motorized landing gear and propeller by Monogram.

Beautiful but smaller than expected.
Just watched the Air Force Thunderbirds perform at the Cocoa Beach Airshow. Wanted to get these as a gift for my grandchildren. Just a little motivation of what they could be or fly when they get older. It's not meant for kids to play with but to look at. My grandson had it in his hands and dropped it on the carpeted floor. The vertical stabilizer broke off. He was like, "I think I broke it". It was an accident so I decided to glue the vertical stabilizer back with Gorrilla Glue and tape. The next day it was good as new. Now, he doesn't touch it. He just looks at it. So, not a toy for kids 5 and under! Although, it's a great replica!
