Saved our composite deck
Replaced old treated lumber deck with composite. The deck looked great for about 1 year and than we noticed that black spots stated to appear on the surface. Turns out that mold was taking over the entire deck. Tried washing it off with different soaps/scrubbing and would not come off. Finally power washed it but mold was back in about 2 months. About 5 months ago power washed deck again and applied this product and the deck still looks great, not a single spot on it. It goes on super easy and no mess.

Using a hand sprayer to apply the sealer on railings waste a lot of product. It drys giving a natural look. Only time will tell how long it protects from mold and mildew. I would recommend painting on with a brush. You don’t need to be precise and it would apply a heavier coat.

Order more than you think you will need
This product was received promptly. It applied well. And looks good so far. The trex deck that we applied it to is about 17 years old. And is showing some wear but still looks pretty good. It has been getting mold on it for a few years now I won’t for some time if it actually prevents the mold from coming back. The decking did suck the product up more than we thought and we could have used more product than the square foot calculations indicated. So far I’m happy with the results.

Enchanced appearance of Composite deck as well as protected
Bought product to protect my composite deck from mold but when I applied it I got a bonus. There where a few faded spots and this product made my deck look brand new. It enhanced the color and did away with the faded spots. Does a good job on preventing mold.

Keeps composite decking mildew free
Our composite deck gets covered in mildew and mold spots. I powerwash at least 3 times a year but it always comes back. I sprayed this on the deck in March and 13 weeks later the deck looks as clean as the day I powerwashed it. I will definitely use this product again
