The best clippers
I bought these clippers out of desperation... I had an elderly, sick, cushings disease horse with a full coat in the dead of Florida summer. The big heavy-duty clippers on hand at the barn were giving everyone constant trouble and I couldn't take it any more. I read reviews and contemplated for a day before purchasing these clippers... I wish Id bought them years ago. I only got to use my set for a few months before my horses passing but I would have paid double for the ease of use and the comfort it brought him.They are light, quiet and easy on the hands during the hour plus bi-weekly clipping sessions my horse required. Being small, I was worried my sweaty curly coated boy would destroy these things or run through blades each session but I was so wrong. They cut smooth and clean and went through his mess of hair with no trouble. I was sure to bathe first and follow the oiling instructions provided with the clippers and the results were amazing. The owner at the barn (who clips horses all summer and was also a dog groomer in her young years) was so impressed, she bought these too.The frustrating days of dull blades, burned up motors, and uneven clippings are over for our entire barn. Were all sold on these little workhorse clippers!

Impressed
These clippers are great especially for the money. It seems like there is a huge price range and I went ahead with these as I felt they were affordable. My horse has Cushings disease and does not shed his winter coat very well anymore. It got very hot up here in New England and he was doing well with the heat and I was desperate to clip him. These clippers glided through his coat like butter and made a quick job of it, plus they are pretty quiet compared to other shears I’ve used and a huge plus was that they didn’t get hotI would highly recommend

Very heavy winter coat on a large Quarter horse mare, so quiet she never moved, clippers never overly heated, did a great job. They are light weight so easy to use. I can say I'm very satisfied with them

Not as powerful as I expected
They are quiet! Initial clip was good, then they suddenly stopped clipping but ran. Don’t know what was the cause, ended up pulling apart and cleaned entire blade area and started working/clipping again but needed nursing to get the clip done on my horse.

Not for heavy duty clipping
I purchased these to body clip my horse, and not even 10 minutes in the clippers died. I could hear something rattling around inside. Thankfully I was able to return them. I would not recommend for heavy duty use, but only small clip jobs.

Great value and works!
I was very impressed the clippers are this good at this price point! I have a BLM Mustang that's half Belgium Draft/Morgan and it cuts his coat like butter! Not to mention, we live on sand and so far it's held up up.very well!

Impressive how it goes through matted dirty horse hair.
The clipper went right through heavy matted horse hair. With only two speeds it was impressive. My horse has never allowed me to clip him, but stood still for the withers back.
