Seems to help some? but manufacturer info needs to be better
This is an unusual product which I hadn’t come across before and I was curious as to whether it would actually work. Granted, the colder months may not be the best time to judge how well these prevent sweat but I do have a tendency towards sweating which I do feel self conscious about so decided to give them a go. First off, the box has absolutely no English information or instructions for use. Luckily, there are directions on the Amazon product page and it’s pretty straightforward. You cut off a length of film from the roll, peel off the yellow paper, stick it to your skin, and then peel off the white paper. This leaves behind a strange film over the skin which feels flexible and non-sticky. I was not aware of this at all when I had them on, only when I actively patted them to feel they were there could I be sure. I did find that with the movement of my arms throughout the day, the middle of them has a tendency to loosen over time. At the end of the day, you simply peel them off like a plaster. Now as I say, I don’t think I’ve been doing anything since I started wearing them that has involved a lot of actual sweat, so it’s not the best test for how they would hold up to that. But I do feel they maybe help absorb odour a bit. They currently cost £10.33 however there is no information I could find about the actual length of this or how many uses you can expect to get (which obviously will vary with how you cut it). For the moment, I would hesitate to fully recommend this as I don’t feel I can swear to its efficacy and the manufacturer could do with providing a bit more customer information. But I have not ruled them out as a useful product either, and will be interested to see how I go with it in warmer weather.
