The tester works well, it is not amazing, but is better than trying to figure out test strips discrepancies. The calibration isn't hard once you've done it a few times, it will become second nature. If you have multiple tanks of water to test a day it is very fast to check with this pen. APP - I tried too many times to get the app to work with IOS. Have not tested Android. I don't believe there is any customer service in US, and their documentation and video guides are cryptic. SO... you may have a hard time at first or feel like it's a scam... It's good for the price though. Used for 6 months so far.

I saw a few good reviews of the RCYAGO meter, and that's what helped my decision to buy one. The bad reviews seemed to describe unique problems, not common to many users.I purchased the meter to use with my pool water testing. The color matching test, just don't seem very accurate, and I've had one pool service company tell me I'm not keeping the water chemicals balanced accurately. So, lets get ACCURATE.I received the meter in a few days, with calibration fluids, and started setting it up.The documentation is very poor for a meter with so many testing capabilities.I almost wish there was a user group where users could discuss testing issues, meter calibration, etc., because there is NO tech support phone number for this meter.In fact, there's no company information on the box at all, or on the meter documentation.You MUST use the phone application if you want to store test data, and operate a few other functions on the meter. I have found the application good the few times I've used the meter.I initially could not get the bluetooth connection to work with my newer LG phone. I was able to get the connection to work with my older LG phone. I'll keep trying with my new phone.Instruction for calibration are minimal, and I could not get the SALT test to calibrate. I'll work on that later. The pH test did calibrate, and used the EU standard of 7.0, which needs the application in order to change standard settings.

This probe records all data right to your phone. It makes it easier when keeping up with aquarium levels . I have 11 tanks and this probe makes things much easier . Easily connects , not hard to calibrate . Excellent buy

I purchased this for hydroponics. Setup was simple and the app works as advertised. Only issue I have is it doesn't come with a TDS solution. Even if you can't calibrate it, you should be able to verify its accuracy. I bought another TDS meter with it that comes calibrated from the factory. This meter measures twice as much TDS/EC as the other meter. I also have another TDS meter that is a few years old that measures less than both of them. (Of course I assume it has fallen out of calibration which is why I purchased a new one.)PH was in range with other meters before calibration and using two different calibration solutions so I believe the PH function is accurate. Having doubts about the TDS. Will have to buy a TDS solution to verify.So far so good with the app.**UPDATE**Received a TDS calibration solution of 1000ppm. This meter measured exactly 1000PPM. My other TDS meter (A Home Forest model) I had purchased that supposedly comes calibrated from the lab, only measured around 700 ppm. It varied a bit. Guess I will review it and return it.Solid meter so far.

Build quality is good. I would recommend this for someone who is somewhat handy or technically inclined. Instructions are really bad. Ease of use: 1. Set-up is difficult for a first time users. Online video is not very good. If you are not somewhat handy with technical applications / tools, I’d look for someone to help you with the initial set-up. Video them. Otherwise, I’d pass.

La aplicación para el Bluetooth no se encuentra en Play Store y no la he podido descargar de otras tiendas.El medidor debería venir no solo con las soluciones para calibrar el pH sino con las de los otros parámetros.

I definitely feel that this is a very good product for the price. Comes with just about everything you will need to use it accurately. It's also Bluetooth and set up in a matter of seconds. It reads instantly and using it by Bluetooth on your phone or tablet, you get every reading in 1 view as opposed to just looking at the unit and not seeing all of the functions at the same time. I think it's very accurate for hydroponics as I'm using it for. It comes with 2 versions of calibration powders and is simple to auto calibrate. Lots of good functions for the price. Replaceable tip as well. I'm very satisfied with it.
