This little puck has managed to keep my espresso head unit free of debris. I no longer have to clean out the machine every single time I use it. Its very easy to wash and does not seem to clog up. It did end up getting dented slightly as my machine has a screw in the very center of the head unit but it doesn't seem to affect its use.

Compared to another one I purchase this screen has sharper edger making it less comfortable to hold and use. with that said it does the job.

Works as advertised. It added a lot to my espresso-making process because it is the first puck screen I have used. Very satisfied.

I had higher hopes for this mesh screen. First time using one. I wanted to avoid "backup" of coffee grounds in my Delonghi EC685 espresso machine that had been slowing or stopping waterflow. The good? It works and does even out the consistency of the shot and puck (Let's Go Rangers btw - see what I did there?). The bad? It didn't have much if any effect on stopping the buildup of grounds inside the initial mechanism where waterflows and it seemed to make the shots slightly weaker. I went back to no mesh screen. That said...this is with a portafilter unit. It may work better with a bottomless portafilter but for me the jury is out. I'll keep the screen on hand but it's not a shot on goal.

Well, I’m no pro, and am not really sure what the purpose is, but bought anyway to give a go. I’m noticing no difference in my shots, but perhaps you know better technique, so yeah, it fits the filter, sits on top, and there you go. Now it sits in the cupboard, but that’s probably on me, not the device.But make no mistake, it is no different than more expensive offerings. 3 stars only because I think it’s “gimmicky” and serves no real purpose.

These are super thick pads and I'm not sure if the water pressure can properly run through your coffees. It also affects the amount of crema, making the coffee less deep.

This screen is a bit thicker than expected. So, if your dosing is too high, this puck screen might not fit and prevent you from locking in your portafilter into the group head. I had a bit of an issue with using this with my 15g VST filter basket. I only use 14g in it and with this puck screen, I could not lock in my portafilter. So, if you tend to create pucks that sit a bit lower in your basket, this might work for you. It can reduce the amount of backflushing that you will need to do to clean the group head and even out the water flow from the group head onto your coffee puck. It has its uses but I'm not sure it's useful for all baskets.

I got this mainly because the coffee machine screen was getting grit on it after the pour. The screen perfectly stops the mess! I haven't noticed any difference in coffee flavour/strength, but I mainly got this to keep my machine clean which it does perfectly!

It fits perfectly in the standard 54mm portafilter of my breville barista pro. I no longer have to clean the group head since the puck screen acts as a screen and no coffee residue gets stuck. That's an added bonus, and reduces the frequency of backflush cleaning that I have to do. It also improved the quality of the shots I pull a little bit. I'm very happy about the purchase and the product. Delivery took a couple weeks, but that's expected since I ordered right around Christmas break.
