Complete RIP-OFF - These are NOT 100 watt equivalency. They are 60-75 watt equivalency.
Once I received these bulbs I did a light comparison against Philips and Ecosmart 100 watt equivalency bulbs and found these the dimmest of the batch. The next thing I noticed was that the power rating for these bulbs isn't anywhere near what it should be for a 100 watt equivalency rating. Philips is 14.5 watts, Ecosmart is 14 watts, but TIWIN says these are 11 watt bulbs, which makes it near impossible to put out a similar lumen ratio. These put out 1100 lumens, whereas other 100 watt equivalecy bulbs clock in at around 1500-1750 lumens. Look at any equivalency scale on the internet; 1100 lumens is considered 75 watt equivalency. This is a boondoggle. You don't simply get to say something is 100 watt equivalency and it becomes fact. This company should relabel these as 75 watt equivalent watt bulbs because their lumen output is nowhere near what it should be for a 100 watt equivalency bulb. In lieu of that, TIWIN should at least reevaluate its business model before moving forward, but something tells me this is simply a money grab on the part of a company that assumes its customers don't know enough about wattage to lumen ratio to notice the difference. They simply hope shoppers will see a cheaper price and think they're getting a deal (when really they aren't).Update - 8/8/16 - I just received an email from PROMIC asking me "if we can send you a free repalcement to resolve this problem? Cause customer reviews is important to us and we value your response. All responses will be used to further improve the quality of our service and products." Okay, first of all, this is a common tactic that companies use to silence their critics. We'll send you a freebie and your negative review goes bye bye. Nice try, PROMIC. I already stated what needed to be done and you simply decided to solve the problem in a way so many other companies do. Just throw some money (or a free product) at the problem and it will go away. If you really want to benefit from my review, try relabeling these bulbs as 75 watt fixtures because, again, they are not 100 watt equivalency bulbs. My review isn't going anywhere. It will stay here for all to see. Try not to misrepresent your bulbs in the future. That will help your product line more than anything else.Update 8/10/16 - A pleasant surprise. I see that TIWIN has, perhaps in light of my comments, relisted these bulbs as 75 watt equivalency in terms of their lumen output. I would like to praise TIWIN and PROMIC for listening to customer feedback and responding in a way that is both honest and beneficial to its customer base.Update 8/12/16 - Sigh. TIWIN/Promic has relisted these bulbs as 100 watt equivalency. The boondoggle continues. Buy these bulbs at your own risk. 1100 lumens is not 100 watt equivalency. It is 75 watt equivalency. Nice bait and switch, TIWIN.Update 2/4/2017 - Since first reviewing this product, I now count some 500+ 5 star reviews that have been posted in the last six months, the vast majority of which focus solely on the bulb's brightness. I'm not saying this company has given away thousands of free bulbs in hopes of boosting their product ratings, but I find this pattern suspicious and highly coincidental. Again, purchase these bulbs at your own risk. They are NOT 100 watt equivalent.

worth the price. a vast improvement over previous generation light bulbs.
I decided to try out LED bulbs for a few various reasons. I was hoping LED bulbs would work better for outdoor use and generate less heat when used in doors. I am fully satisfied with these bulbs. They accomplished what I ordered them for. My porch light no longer needs to warm up to get to full brightness. The old CFL bulb I was using always needed to in cold weather. Being rather dim for awhile after it was turned on. The moment this bulb is turned on it puts out a bright light that covers a wide radius. It also produces so little heat that I was able to touch anywhere on the bulb without getting burned (thinking things through was never my strong suit). Which should help vastly when summer hits. This house has enough issues keeping cool as it is. The light was still soft enough that I don't feel nearly as uncomfortable looking at it, and can look in its general direction with few issues. Unlike other high lumen bulbs I have tried in the past. They are markedly more expensive then CFLs. Being just about twice what I remember those bulbs to cost. I have yet to see if they will last long enough. The fact they perform so well though I think the price would be justified even if they didn't last as long. I will update this review if they don't last the few years I have come to expect from light bulbs. The retail packaging was amazing as well. It fit the bulb so well and was so thoroughly constructed I doubt the bulb would have broke under even the lousiest shipping conditions. I don't think tanks are built to stand up to the sort of stresses those cardboard boxes look like they can withstand. I am currently using most the bulbs that I ordered and they all are working flawlessly. I forgot how fragile light bulbs could be when I ordered these. They all arrived in mint condition though. They don't look fragile. I have yet to break one (which I do fairly often. that is how a good portion of my bulbs eventually break.) Again, I will update my review if I run into any issues with them.Sorry that this review seemed to have a lot of review of LED bulbs in it. This is my first LED light bulb. Not for sure if this bulb is superior to others of its type. It has proven superior to all the other light bulbs I have ever bought so far though. Which is all I have to go by as of yet.

Nice and bright. for 1st 6 months. Brightness fades. 2/6 bulbs died at 11 months, but seller addressed issue.
Been installed for two weeks now. Mush brighter than expected, but I like that. I will probably by more later. Wish LED's were not so expensive, but they do put out better light and perform better than cfl's. We tested the wattage use and it was exactly as described.Update: bought these over a year ago. Four still work , but are dimmer than they were when I first began using them and they heat up a bit more now (I have testers and shoot temp readings, so this is not just a subjective observation). Two out of the 6 we bought no longer work. For the eleven months they worked, they flickered randomly for two to three months before they bit the dust. They did use signifcantly less wattage than a regulare 100 W bulb and I am replacing them with 100 W LED from a different brand now that they are cheaper and available in local stores. The sellers refunded me a prorated portion of their cost even though they claimed no olbigation 11 months after I used them. I suppose they have a point except they had only worked for less than 1200 hours. They promised a lot more than that. Still they answered and refunded me within 2 days of my first EMail, this is why they get 4 stars. I do hope peolple read the reviews. I do not want to cost anyone their business when they are so on top of it, except their product is not living up to their advertisement. They did mention they were forwarding my concerns to their supplier. Amazon only guarantees refunds for 30 days, so no help there.
