Westcott Box Cutter Safety Ceramic Utility Knife (16475)

I love this safety knife that cuts extremely well and won't cut me!! I highly recommend it to anyone with a project, as I used it for hanging wallpaper and it did a fabulous job. UPDATE: The one negative to this knife is that you must manually push the button to keep the blade out. You cannot "lock" it into place so that it stays out as you are cutting. I still recommend due to the safety and great cutting, but that's become a pain point. It also very easily cuts your drywall when cutting wallpaper, so don't push too hard. It works almost too well!!

It’s perfect to open all boxes I get delivered with ease. Easy to grasp and maneuver. 100% worth every penny for the quality and the lifespan.

The ceramic blades are sharp and effective, slicing through materials like paper and cardboard with ease. What I really appreciate is the safety feature: the design minimizes the risk of accidental cuts, which is perfect for someone like me who tends to be a bit clumsy with traditional knives.The knife feels sturdy and comfortable to hold, and the blade’s durability means it stays sharp longer than some metal counterparts. However, keep in mind that ceramic blades can be a bit brittle, so they’re not ideal for very tough materials.

This cutter is okay for opening small boxes, packages, and mail type things because it is safer, but for the money, it is only disposable because you cannot replace the blade and it is not very durable either.

This is the best box knife I've ever used. The blade doesn't gum up when cutting through tape. Anything that does get stuck to it just wipes off with no problem.I can cut through cardboard, and also not my fingers.

Great alternative to a traditional razor blade. Much safer too. Cuts easily through boxes or anything you would use a razor blade on.

Very nice cutter for packages but since you have to hold the blade out by pushing on the slider, it MUST be held one specific way and it can be awkward. Otherwise, it works well.
