UNIQUE PETZ Self-Warming Comfort Pet Mat (See More Colors)

The mat works. It is not very thick. Unfortunately after managing to get my pet on the mat once (he was there for quite a while), he won't go near it now. I think it's because it makes the "crinkling" noise. I rated it 4 stars because it isn't as thick as I had hoped (even though the picture did show it isn't that thick). I had a self-warming pad for my corgi several years ago, which was about an inch thick, but it didn't make a crinkling noise. I just wish I could get my pet to lay on this pad.

I hadn't bought this type product before, so I got 1 of these and 1 other brand.The Unique Petz product seems pretty good, but for the same price the other brand was thicker, plusher, and more attractive.

Our cat is not used to it yet. He used to sleep on the TV cable box, which we got rid of because it had warmth. I like how soft it is, and he likes kneading it because it crinkles.

I bought this for an older cat who likes to sleep outside but it was cold and I was looking for something to keep him warm. Reading your information I was convinced that the thermal effect would be a perfect solution. When it arrived I put my hand on top of the cat rug and can see that it gets warm; my 3 cats love it and take turns sleeping on top.It took a few days before my old cat would lie on the Pet Mat; but now sleeps or sits on it all day is is comfy and warm.I have three cats and I ordered two more so every cat has one.My suggestion is to also offer a round bed that would be appealing to cats .

Makes loud crinkly noise that scares cats. They won't use this. I'd hoped it was more like a quiet, softer reversible pet mat that I purchased from a pet store chain a few years ago. The noise sounds like it must be lined with plastic sheeting.

Good product, well made. I apparently ordered the wrong "size". I was able to use it for the cat instead.

the dog seems to like it. Its pretty, soft. Has a crackly, paper sound when handled.
