Original Candle Lantern Powder

It produces a good amount of light. It's enough to see while sitting outside the tent. There was a moderate wind and it didn't bother the flame. I also like that you don't end up with a wick drowning in wax. Great product. Nice and compact.

When wild camping, there's nothing like having the light from a fire through the night. The candle provides just enough illumination to see what's around if something goes bump in the dark. Only downside is the high price of the candles but experience has taught me that it's best to stick with the UCO brand and avoid cheapies, which can create a mess and generally don't burn as long. Goes with me on every backpacking and camping trip. Highly recommended.

It is great to buy for a demo of the three candle version. Material is a bit thin. It looks good and works as advertised. Refill candles are a bit expensive but I have candle making equipment

As per the standard, UCO has been putting out quality outdoor equipment for some time now. This lantern is no different. Being collapsible protects the glass and saves space. Disassembly is simple and cleaning is a breeze. Candle soot wipes right off. Unfortunately, the candles designed for this lantern are pretty expensive. Nothing a couple videos can't solve, youll be making your own! The candle definitely is much brighter than without the lantern, as well as burns much more even and protected from the elements. As always, another great product I would highly recommend to any outdoor enthusiasts!

Even though I gave this 5 stars, I do have to say that this DID break on me (totally my fault). I live in a van, took a turn too fast and it went flying out of a cabinet onto the floor (along with other things) and the glass shattered even though it was closed. I like the lantern so much I ordered replacement glass for it. I like being able to hang it or have it on the counter or taking it outside. It give such a nice ambiance. I used it all the time, and when the replacement glass comes in, ill continue to use it.

Very convenient little candle. I’ll probably buy a couple more.

Se você curte uma luz amarelada e gosta de acampar ou fazer atividades outdoor, é um investimento que vale a pena. É caro, eu sei, mas se bem cuidado vai durar uma vida. E serve também naqueles momentos em que falta energia em casa e você não acha a sua lanterna.Porém, não se empolgue com as velas originais. Elas são absurdamente caras para nossa realidade. Fui até uma fábrica de velas próxima, que produz velas de 3cm de diâmetro e pedi que cortassem em pedaços de 8,5cm. Encaixe perfeito. Duram mais de 10h cada uma. Custam uns trocados. Também é possível fazer as velas em casa, só pesquisar um pouco.E por fim, não considere essa uma fonte principal de luz ou calor nas suas atividades. É uma luz de vela, então ilumina como uma vela, com a enorme vantagem de estar protegida e estável.

La lámpara es compacta, pequeña y resistente. Muy recomendable.La vela no me gusta. Es cierto que quema bien y se va consumiendo sin dejar residuos ni derramar cera.Pero es una vela de parafina, que huele mal y es más tóxico que una de cera de abeja o de soja. Además los recambios son muy caros.UCO las vende también de cera de abeja, pero me parecen caras.Las velas miden 9 cm hasta la punta, y no 10 como he leído por ahí.

Not used it yet, well in the house when I first got it, mostly for ambient light when camping and fishing, the only thing the wax runs inside it, after one candle not really problem soak it in warm water to soften scrape it out.
