TAQTON Neodymium 1" Cube Magnet, N52. Strong Permanent Rare Earth Magnets. Fridge, DIY, Building, Scientific, Craft, and Office Magnets

This magnet is very powerful, just as it is described. I bought it to use with a Ferrofluid Magnetic Display for a school project with children. Someone else mentioned that you have to be careful not to let it pinch fingers. I agree that would be a concern and will need to be handled carefully with children. However, the school grade magnets are not nearly strong enough to affect the ferrofluid, and this magnet causes awesome effects. As long as you are aware of how strong this magnet is, I believe that taking precautions will allow me to perform a dynamic demonstration of the magnetic field.

Very strong magnet. My son loves it, but be aware it is so strong, that it is a little worrisome when you start to think of all the things that could be affected by it- electronics, braces, etc. Once this magnet sticks to something it takes a lot of force to get it off. (Trust me!) So keep that in mind when buying, esp for younger kids. My son is 12 and I think it might still be too young. But if you need a strong magnet, this is it!

Extremely strong, a bit brittle but that's normal. Be careful because it will lift another magnet from 12 inches away and smash your fingers.

Using mine to pick up nails,So I am constructing a web sling with cube glued, taped and sewn in.Barely able to pull a nail off bare magnet.Perfect

It's got everything you could want in a magnet, lots and lots of magnetism! Just watch out and not let your fingers get slammed between two of these suckers.

Wrapped well: final part of package was some plastic that was hard to get into, but given the strength of the the magnet I'm glad they wrapped it this well. So far I've gotten stuck to the Fridge, stove, dishwasher, and front door.Fun little toy.
