Beautiful piece, only thing is that its made out of plastic instead of wood. Other than that it plays well and my fiancé loved the design.

Get THIS uke if your still wondering which one
I'm quite taken with the Woodi plastic uke. The chords are even in tune with themselves with the marginal strings that come with it. One must alwaysput good strings to make an inexpensive uke sing. The zero fret is the key to solving the intonation problems that plague these cheaper ukes (and many not so cheap ukes). I've spent my life playing classical guitar, and the intonation problems of the ukes has been driving me nuts. So needless to say, I had to see it to believe it. I would get this from Woodi USA or Woodi USA on amazon just to be on the safe side. If a classical guitarist tells you a particular uke is fun to play, you can take that to the bank.Woodi also sells a case separately which is quite adequate - it fits the uke well, it has decent padding, as well as 2 shoulder straps. For $12 or so, it is exactly the price and the qualities I was looking for. I noted this here to encourage people to get theirs as it works well.Tomorrow I'll be getting and putting Martin Flourocarbon strings on it. Frankly, I've been using Aquilas, but would like to try something a little mellower. I will edit this review after I've had good strings on it and played it for a few days.

We searched extensively on Amazon trying to ascertain the best one of price/rating
THIS IS NOT A WOODEN INSTRUMENT! My daughter had been wanting a uke for awhile and finally got me cornered and drug out her savings from various holidays. We searched extensively on Amazon trying to ascertain the best one of price/rating. This one was rated pretty good and it is called a "Woodi" Well by the time we had found it we had been through soooooooo many pages and pages that I went ahead and ordered the one that she liked. Nowhere in the description did it say that it was made of plastic. Granted it never said it was wooden either but, hello, "Woodi". I just felt ripped that for another $10 she could have gotten a real wood instrument. Don't assume and all that. Plays OK. Took forever to get in tune to the point that I was wondering if I had the right strings on it. If she sticks with it through thanksgiving I'll bite the bullet and pay for a better one.

Sweet little plastic uke. Holds tune fairly well. Fun!

Get One For The Fun
Boy, this thing is fun. It goes down to the beach in 90-95 degree temperature, gets a little ocean spray on the front, and still works just fine. I wouldn't do that to my other ukes (not actually stand or sit at the water's edge with them). It should be noted that the back is slightly rounded and thus this has a much more mellow sound than you might expect out of a plastic (it actually sounds better than my 50's Macaferri TV Pal). Also, the colored "application" on the front and sides seems extremely durable (it actually looks and feels like it is part of the plastic rather than just a covering) and is every bit as attractive/true to the pictures as one might hope.

we were both disappointed.
The ukuele arrived with strings that were broken. I bought this as a gift for a foreign exchange student who wanted something to remind her of home. Needless to say, we were both disappointed.

Not worth the price
Plastic not wood. Terrible tone quality. This is a toy not an instrument.
