This retractable leash has a lot of pluses:+ It's ergonomics are great. Fits comfortably in the hand.+ The flashlight is bright. Runs on 3 AAA batteries which load easily.+ The rewind works without tangling.+ Leash is a narrow strap rather than a strap and cord.+ Having the disposal bags on-board.I use it to walk a mini-dachshund and everything works fine for walking a small dog.The only negative I can offer is this- the lock is internal. Anotherwords, the button both releases and locks. The Flexi leashes that I use have a seperate button for locking the leash length and the mechanism is a lot smoother. If this mechanism for locking and unlocking the length was bit smoother I would give it 5 stars.**Update. After a few months the lock broke on this leash. It works as a brake and the spring still retracts. The build quality isn't the greatest, but it still works without a lock.** Final Update. I have to drop my star rating to 1 star. The snap at the end of the leash fell off today. 1/9/2015. It's too bad because the extras on this leash were nice ideas. I'm ordering a light with velcro to put on the Flexi leash I have.I definitely will not buy this leash again!!

The flashlight on my old leash was broken, and it was past repairs. I searched for a leash, and I really liked this one. Only thing that bothered me was the lack of reviews. Well, I've only had it for two week but the light works great, leash seems sturdy, bags are convenient, and it's cute. In case you were wondering, I have a 10 lb Yorkie.

broke right out the box. locked up button would not work put batteries in flashlight figured hey at least i have a flash light turned it on and nothing threw it all in the garbage. dont waste your money on this piece of junk. its not worth the plastic its made out of. its just more plastic to clutter the earth with. Im sorry I ever ordered it. garbage just complete garbage. the trash bags it came with dont even tear off correctly without ripping.

I love that it has the bags a flashlight and a sturdy leash handle to hang on to, also the retracting with the easy lock is great much easier to control the dog

The cord was jammed 5 minutes into using it. Ive tried everything to get it to loosen up to no avail. short of opening the thing up its not coming loose. Good idea but very poor quality

This would be a great product if the retractable part actually worked. Flashlight, great, however I only had this a week and the retractable lease part stopped working. my yorkie is only 6 pounds so she's not strong enough to pull or break.poorly made product. so very disappointed.

So this product was no good very cheap .The first time i used it the cird would not retract at all and had difficulty dealing with my dog trying to keep her pulled back cause the leash didn't work .very disappointed. Wouldn't recomend this product waist of money .
