So much easier than the old wheel you have to turn forever. This quarter turn valve is very convenient and hopefully will last a long time.It looks like it is well made and works perfectly.

Easy to install and easy to turn on/off. Seems pretty sturdy and durable, only put it on a few months ago..but great so far.

I noticed my 30 year-old 'leaker' was doing it's thing again - leaking and dripping constantly, whether turned on or off. The last time this happened, it took a full day of running around to hardware stores, looking for the correct washer and stem packing material. Enough was enough! I got out my caliper, measured the I.D. & O.D. and ordered this little beauty. It's exactly what I needed.BTW, word to the wise: I have a friend that's a full-time plumber at a newspaper production plant. He works on every kind/type/size of plumbing known to man. I asked him once, "Do you prefer Teflon tape or Teflon sealant?" He said, "I use both. I put sealant on the threads, then wrap the threads with tape. Never had a leak yet!"He was right. Works perfect every time! Try it, and you'll become a believer, too.

Buyer Beware: The threads on this faucet is on the outside. Most garden hose pipe coming out of the house has a outside male threaded connection. If you have a male threaded connection coming out of the house, then you need to get a faucet with threads on the inside. But what I did was, buy a 1/2 inch female brass coupler/union, screwed it to the house connection, and connected this faucet/spigot to the other end of the female connector. Use only brass couplers since the faucet is brass. Never use steel to make a brass connection. Make sure you use the blue Teflon tape AND Pipe doh(dough) on both sides of the male threading.This is a very well built faucet/spigot. I will last you at least 15 years. I also put some silicone lubricant on top of the red lever, where the screw nut is located. The silicone lubricant will prevent any corrosion from building up on the nut. Also, if you need to ever replace the red lever, the nut won't be corroded.

Purchased to replace an old gate valve style hose bib. This quarter turn ball valve is sturdy, well constructed and easy to use.

Fixed two leaking outside faucets with these.

Finally after 24 years this was replaced. Much better flow of water also.

Very happy with taps. Great value.

I like the positive action of the spigot, my wife’s arthritic hands can even operate it.
