The assembly wasn’t the easiest, but the chair looks great and is very comfortable. I’ve had it since 2016 and has held up with 2 kids playing on it with barely any visible wear

Once finally assembled the rocking chair looks beautiful and is a joy to sit in. However assembly was very problematic due to a manufacturing error. Luckily I am extremely capable, and have all the right tools.To explain, one of the many countersunk holes was not deep enough to permit applying a washer and nut onto a bolt. I decided to use my dremel rather than a drill to deepen the countersunk hole, in order to precisely take off only as much wood as was necessary to allow application of a wash and nut onto this bolt. Afterwards I applied three coats of high quality spar varnish. The rest of the chair had already been assembled, so once this manufacturing error was corrected, the chair was ready for use.One more thing . . . one of the pieces arrived chipped. I used a waterproof two-part epoxy to glue the chip back. A looped rubber band was used to apply gentle pressure for several hours. Afterwards the band was cut off, and two coats of the same spar varnish applied to prevent water entry around where the chip had been re-attached.Despite the chair's good looks and comfort, I would not make any more purchases from this company because the manufacturer's quality assurance is lacking. Had I not had the knowledge, tools and time to effectuate these repairs, I would have returned the chair for a full refund. I needed it for a birthday gift, so I fixed all the manufacturer's problems.

it looks like a good product. Just remember that returning is not free like other Amazon products. Its from the 3rd party and you need to pay for this heavy chair. Amazon return policy doesn't say anything about return cost ny the buyer. Amazon keeps removing my review about returning cost charge to customers. PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE MY REVIEW.

A little difficult to assemble. Took me and my husband a few hours to put it together but worth it! Love the look of the chair. There were a few dings in it though and a line on the back board piece that I wasn't happy with but I didn't feel like dealing with the hassle of returning it or taking it back apart. Also, after ordering it for 190 dollars with taxes I found the same chair for 50 dollars cheaper and I was disappointed that I got ripped off!! But delivery was fast and I only have to buy it once so. Picture submitted for review.

It is a pin to assemble getting the nuts on but doable. Mine got here a day early and that was nice.But as you see in the picture, they did not do a nice job on the burnt finish and there are areas all over the chair. But, it is comfortable.Would I buy another one? No. For almost $200 I expected a nice chair. I work with wood and this was kinda sloppy.

The bolts were in a plastic baggy that ripped open and damaged the chair a bit but it’s rustic so I’ll be okay. The chair itself is very sturdy when it’s assembled correctly and is large and comfortable. I’m 5’6” and it’s almost too large for me.

Great rocker. It's very sturdy. The wood itself is beautiful; it's dark and varnished. There was a problem with the hardware, thus the 4 star instead of 5. All of the screws for the legs (8 of them) were not machined properly, so the bolts would not turn. I called customer service and was promised another set of screws. What a pain! What do I do with all the parts until I get the screws? I didn't want them to get scratched. I found safe places for each piece. One week later the new screws came. 4 of 8 were still not right. What the heck? I went to Lowes and got what I needed. I guess they have no quality control personnel.

I read the reviews and almost didnt purchase this chair because of how difficult everyone wrote about putting it together, but loved it and gave it a chance. The chair was easy to assemble and its beautiful. It did have some knicks in the wood when we recieved it and the stain doesnt look like it had a chance to dry in some places but overall we love this chair!
