Fits perfectly!
These lights are super bright and crisp and fit perfectly in my 2008 Volkswagen Beetle. It only took about 5 minutes to install.

Great value replacement headlight assemblies!
I am very happy with this item, mostly for the value. The driver side headlight went out in my daughter's 2008 VW Beetle and when I was replacing the bulb I inadvertently broke a plastic part of the headlight assembly. Little did I know an OEM part would be over $300 each. The reviews on this item seemed mixed, but for an older car I figured it was worth a try since the lenses of both of her headlights were badly scratched/fogged/yellowed. These headlights fit perfectly and as far as I can tell are exactly like the OEM parts. They even came with four bulbs, though they are not as bright as the OEM bulbs. The install is a challenge, but that's due to the VW design and not these headlights. The only negative is that the rubber gasket around the edge of the lights could be thicker/better to ensure a tight seal between the headlight and the car.

Issue with adjustments
Headlamp assemblies went in perfectly and appearance is excellent. However, my pair would not adjust....absolutely could not get the beam to focus or move downward. Beam was a wide dispersal well above the pavement. Finally took them out, got the original assemblies off the shelf, cleaned/polished them and put them back on vehicle. New ones now on shelf.

My daughter's car looks brand new. Don't go to the dealer and spend a fortune. Do it yourself! Just be sure to watch YouTube videos on how to replace. Don't try to guess, you'll never figure it out. There's a little hex screw you need to turn to unlatch the lens casing, then press down on a little metal lever to fully release. Watch the videos. But the lights. Oh yeah... perfect!!

Easy to put on but my driver headlight was not as bright as the right side
